Since the company no longer has the expensive services of the Great Khali, they are forced to find other wrestlers to send to India to promote. The latest person to be sent to that country is Mark Henry, and he is on his way there this week. His promotional duties aren't for an upcoming tour, however. He is simply there to bring a little more awareness for WWE since they are televised there.

A post on YouTube where WWE lists the five performers who have held the world heavyweight championship for more than 1000 days. While the segment might appear to be a promotional tool for John Cena, the belief is that management might be setting up a very long reign for Seth Rollins.

King of the Mountain Champion

To take things up a notch, TNA has announced that they are creating a King of the Mountain Championship for the person that wins the match on Sunday. There are talks that Jeff Jarrett could be given the victory and the belt so that he can make it an inter promotional championship that will be defended on Impact Wrestling and at GFW live events.

Over the past couple of days, Chyna has been doing a variety of interviews during her promotional tour. More often than not, the producers of the show ask about her private life because that drums up interest in the segment. She once again is claiming that Triple H physically assaulted her when they were near the end of their relationship. He issued a public statement of denial once again.

The company is going to capitalize on that in May when they send Itami back to his home country to do some promotional work for the two live events that they are planning to run in July. You can expect Itami to be featured on those shows.

During Monday Night Raw, there was a segment where the divas begged for an opportunity from Kane. He delivered it by announcing that there will be a bit divas battle royal to determine a number contender on the next episode, which will air from London. WWE wanted to do this as a promotional tool, as the plan has already been put in place for Naomi to challenge Nikki Bella. That is why she has been getting pins on the champion.

Last month, Daniel Bryan revealed in an interview that he wanted to wrestle his former roommate and training partner Shinsuke Nakamura at Wrestlemania in Dallas next year. Now, the popular star is requesting that management bring the New Japan star on board when WWE tours Japan this year. Bryan feels that an interpromotional match between the two of them would help draw in fans to the live events in Tokyo.

Since the company has grown from a territory to being a global entity, it is natural to wonder what else is left for WWE to accomplish. The question was thrown at John Cena during a Wrestlemania promotional event this week. Ever the public relations expert, he stated that there is still room for a lot of improvement from the company. He stated that he would love for them to be able to tour India and China more frequently.
