There were small rumblings over the weekend that Mr Anderson was going to make a surprise appearance at the Survivor Series. That stems from the fact that the former world heavyweight champion was actually in Atlanta for the weekend. However, he was not there because of WWE. Anderson worked an independent wrestling show for a promotion owned by Luke Gallows.

While doing an interview with the Nashville Scene, Jay Lethal was once again asked about his desire to work for WWE. He stated that most wrestling fans got into the business in large part because they were fans of that promotion as a kid. He is no exception. With that in mind, he stated that he would absolutely love to work for a company that is a fan of. However, Lethal also noted that he would be fine if it never happened.

It was earlier reported that AJ Styles was under contract with New Japan until the end of the year, which sparked the rumors that he was signing with WWE to join the NXT roster. However, new reports have now surfaced that the former world heavyweight champion is no longer under contract with NJPW. He is simply working on a per date deal with the promotion and can leave when he wants.

During a recent interview to promote his upcoming tour of England, Kurt Angle revealed the amount of money that UFC offered him back in 1997. Dana White had an offer on the table which would have included 10 fights and $150,000. At the time, Angle was not as famous as he is now. Plus, the MMA promotion was not the money making juggernaut that it has grown to become today.

Promotions for the film have already begun, and TNA cleverly found themselves a window of opportunity. Management contacted Goldberg to see if he would be interested in showing up on Impact Wrestling to promote his movie.

During a recent interview, he stated that he was fine with Alberto Del Rio returning to the promotion. Mysterio knows that time is a factor for professional wrestlers, so everyone needs to make their money while they can. He also did not rule out his own return some day.

When asked if he would make a return to Lucha Underground, Shawn Hernandez flat out stated that the ship has sailed on that. He has backstage heat with the promotion because of how they handled his contract situation with TNA. Hernandez really wanted to be with a bigger promotion, but he lost that chance when the controversy arose. The belief is that Hernandez will continue to work the independent wrestling circuit.

The former world heavyweight champion had issues with a camera man that did not know his name. The 46 year old actor stated that there are fans that know more about professional wrestling than some of the people that World Wrestling Entertainment has been hiring lately.

While WWE will not allow Alberto Del Rio to make a return to AAA to drop his championship, they have no problems with him heading down to Puerto Rico to work a WWC event. He recently worked a story line with Ricardo Rodriguez, so the promoters wanted him to head back down there to finish that up. Management is allowing Del Rio to do that because they are on friendly terms with the promotion.
