Undertaker's Wrestlemania Record
The legendary Undertaker finds himself in a familiar spot again this year. He's scheduled to go into Wrestlemania as the challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship.
At Wrestlemania 23, the Undertaker wrestled a superb match against Batista. He also captured the World Heavyweight Championship fro his rival.
This year, he will be facing a new champion. That new champion is Edge, who also happens to have a (disputed) Wrestlemania winning streak himself.
Let's take a look at how the Undertaker has fared at Wrestlemania. |
Analysis
We all know that wrestling is scripted, but it's still impressive for the Undertaker to have amassed this many victories at the biggest wrestling event of the year. That means that he's been on good terms with management and the fans for years and years.
Fortunately for the Undertaker this year, he's not going to have to carry his opponent completely. In the past, he's had to do most of the work to make big bodied wrestlers like Giant Gonzales, King Kong Bundy, Big Boss Man, Mark Henry, and A-Train look good. Edge can more than carry his own load in a match. |
