While Batista never officially worked for the company, the former World Heavyweight Champion did attempt to get a job with WCW. He went tot he Power Plant and tried out to become a professional wrestler. However, Sargent Buddy Lee Parker, who was the head trainer at the time, told him that he would never become a star in this industry. He contacted WWE shortly afterwards.
