Jim Ross defends Samoa Joe

When Samoa Joe made a guest appearance at the one man show held by Jim Ross, he told the audience that he had no issues with going through NXT to get to the main roster in WWE. Some have criticized him for giving a political answer. That did not sit well with Ross, who made it a point to respond online. He stated that Joe was simply being a smart business man who understands what it is to be a team player as well.

Jim Ross on Bill DeMott

During a radio interview with At The Fights, Jim Ross shared his feelings towards Bill DeMott. The former stated that the latter was a fair man and a tough guy. However, Ross also stated that DeMott might not have been the right person for the job. WWE needed someone who could see the bigger picture better than DeMott, whom Ross stated would have been great as an assistant trainer. Ross also noted that DeMott was politically incorrect.

Big E Langston push

For those of you that are under the assumption that John Cena has or uses a lot of stroke backstage, take a look at Big E Langston. The former pushed really hard for WWE to give the latter a chance in the main event scene. Management gave Langston a brief push, but it was not sustained. Nor did it take him that far up the ladder. He is essentially lost in the shuffle as a filler wrestler now. Cena does not play the political game as much as former stars did.

Hulk Hogan discusses Darren Wilson

A lot of wrestling fans were surprised to hear Hulk Hogan being mentioned by Darren Wilson, the police officer at the center of the Ferguson controversy. When asked about the situation, Hogan gave the politically correct answer by saying that he is neutral about the case. The former world heavyweight champion stated that he is still learning new things about the case and urged others to do the same.
