El Torito
One of the ideas being tossed around right now backstage in WWE is to have Hornswoggle and El Torito wrestling one another on a pretty frequent basis. The two of them will be featured on Smackdown this week, and there could be more matches coming up. WWE had the two of them training together for a couple of weeks to ensure that the match quality is decent.

LeiD Tapa
Proving that she is far from done with the professional wrestling business, LeiD Tapa immediately has gone back to work after receiving her release from TNA. The former Knockout is back in OVW, where she is receiving further training and experience. Many within the company are praising her for the determination that she is showing.

Taylor Wilde
When she walked away from professional wrestling a couple of years ago, the belief was that Taylor Wilde was open to a possible return some day. When asked about it recently on Twitter, Taylor confirmed just that, as she stated that she would be willing to return to TNA if the contract was favorable. The former Knockouts champion has been training to be a firefighter as of late.

Michelle McCool
In a rather interesting move, Michelle McCool was spotted training at the WWE Performance Center this week. She was helping some of the developmental performers out. Some are speculating that she is interested in becoming a trainer for the company, while others think that she might just be helping out because her husband, Undertaker, is working Wrestlemania 30.

Dixie Carter
After his big MMA fight in May against King Mo, Rampage Jackson will start training for professional wrestling. Bjorn Rebney, the CEO of Bellator, stated that he has hired coaches and trainers to come in and teach Jackson the finer points of being a wrestler. He also noted that he keeps in contact with Dixie Carter, so Jackson will be working with TNA again soon.

Miz
Aside from the hectic schedule that she does for WWE and Total Divas, Summer Rae is also having to find time to do weapons training. She has a part in the fourth Marine movie, starring the Miz, and she will be required to shoot guns for the film. Summer has been receiving training at a location in Burbank.

After taking a much needed break to heal up his body, Shannon Moore has now started training again, and he has stated that he would like to make a come back to professional wrestling. His good friends Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy and Shane Helms recently drew in a packed house at an independent wrestling show, so a group tour could be an option.

Angelo Dawkins
The demotion of Brodus Clay seems to be getting worse and worse. Aside from being pulled from Monday Night Raw and Smackdown, he has been working in the developmental program as of late, training with Bill DeMott. Clay worked a match for WWE NXT and actually put over Angelo Dawkins. Generally, main roster guys are the ones getting the victories.

While his dreams of working at Wrestlemania 30 might be in jeopardy, that has not stopped Brodus Clay from trying. He has been training with Bill DeMott, the head trainer for WWE, down in developmental as of late. No word yet on when he will return to Monday Night Raw or Smackdown.

While they were in Colorado Springs for the Smackdown taping this week, Darren Young and Mark Henry decided to train together at the Olympic Training Center. This was the facility that Henry utilized years ago when he was an Olympic athlete.

As a youth, Meng was one of a handful of children who were handpicked by the King of Tonga and sent to Japan to learn sumo. He would end up spending a couple of years there training and competing in the sport until the stable master passed away. Former WWE star Barbarian was another person that was sent with Meng.

Rather than jumping right into the mix of things, Angle stated that he is not making a decision until December, allowing his body some time to rest.

There is a new comedy out in theaters called Haunted House 2, which stars Marlon Wayans, and Mark Henry has a role in the film. He plays a "big buff black inmate". Wayans interviewed with WWE recently, and the actor joked about hiring Henry to be "big bluff black henchman". Henry has expressed interest in doing more movies.

Since it is rather expensive to do overseas tours, WWE generally runs a lighter crew at the live events. Charles Robinson, who is normally a referee, put in some work with the ring crew. He narrowly avoided a horrific situation when he nearly lost his thumb in an accident. WWE medical personnel were able to stitch him up, and he is expected to be fine.

He successfully retained the belt in a fatal four way that consisted of Cody Rhodes, Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler. Ambrose has rarely been allowed to defend the US title over the last couple of months.

For the longest time there, MVP was the longest reigning WWE United States Heavyweight Champion, but that mark looks to be broken soon if Dean Ambrose can hold on to the belt a little while longer. One of the guys that has signed a multiple year deal this week is Rockstar Spud, who has been impressing everyone backstage with how well he has committed to his character.
