Since WWE wants Nikki Bella to have fresh challengers and a long title reign, rumors have it that Becky Lynch will be the next diva to challenge her for the championship. It is much too soon for Becky to hold the title, so she will more than likely be used as fodder for the next couple of weeks. The spotlight should be good for the performer from Ireland.

There was some unnecessary silliness during the second match of Money in the Bank. Brie Bella enters the ring, gets pinned, removes tissues from her bra, shows her crotch tattoos and manages to get the referee to continue the match. Nikki Bella retains the Divas Championship after hitting her finishing move on Paige and pinning her.

Now that Nikki Bella has carried the Divas Championship for more than 200 days, there are now talks coming out of WWE that management could have her holding the belt for another three months or so. Doing that would enable them to take the record away from AJ Lee, who walked away from the company earlier this year.

To fill out the pay per view even more, WWE has decided to do a triple threat match for the Divas Championship at Elimination Chamber instead of building it up for Money in the Bank. Nikki Bella will be defending her title against both Naomi and Paige, who recently made her television return after taking some time off to film a movie with Miz. Since plans were changed so rapidly, there is no word yet on who will be walking out with the belt that night.

As some of you may already know, Paige is taking some time off from WWE to film a movie. Since they are still figuring out the filming schedule, the front office decided to write her out off of television. They left open the possibility of her making a return at Extreme Rules to challenge Nikki Bella for the Divas Championship. Reports have now surfaced that Naomi might be required as a replacement because of the filming schedule being changed.

Before AJ Lee stunned the professional wrestling world by announcing her early retirement from WWE, there were plans in place for her to turn do a heel turn and challenge Paige, who is still being scheduled to capture the Divas Championship from Nikki Bella at Extreme Rules. The creative department had to quickly find alternative plans. Since they already wrote the story, they simply decided to replace AJ with Naomi.

On Monday Night Raw, Naomi did a heel turn by attacking Paige after the latter eliminated the former to win the divas battle royal, which was held to determine the top contender for the championship. The plan right now is for Nikki Bella to drop the belt and build up some heel challenger for the Pale Princess to work with for the next couple of months. WWE basically just set up the first title defense with the segment tonight.

To give you even more of an idea of just how bad things were becoming for her, AJ Lee left WWE despite being in line for a push. She was supposed to have started a feud with Nikki Bella after Wrestlemania, and there was a very good chance that she would have captured the Divas Championship. Management was forced to change plans at the last minute. They pushed Naomi, even though the front office was not fully behind her.
