"Right before he passed, we ran into each other at a doctor's office. He had gotten remarried to his high school sweetheart. He was smiling and grinning. He was the old Macho Man I had always known. We hugged each other and talked on the phone a few times. We were planning to have a barbecue at his mom's house, and a couple days before that, he passed away." - Hulk Hogan discusses the end of his backstage heat with Randy Savage

Batista
"For some reason I think people thought that I didn't like Daniel Bryan or I had this personal thing. I said a comment, I had one comment about him when he first won the world heavyweight championship and I was like, I was in shock and I said, 'Okay.' Because I just didn't get it. The reason I didn't get it because it was too soon and that's my personal opinion. I felt it was way too soon and they did that constantly over and over. I thought they, they just slap the title on people like, way too fast. It's like, I think sometimes that they used the title, I might get a little grief for saying it, sometimes I think they use the title to get guys over. I thought it just, they did it, it was premature. I never had a problem with him being you know, World Heavyweight Champion, I just thought that they did it way too fast. Years ago, before everybody was you know on his jock, when they wanted me to job him out, and I was like, 'Hell no.' He's just too good. He had been coming around for years and I could never figure out why they didn't give him a job, but he had come out and they wanted me to work a match with him, and squash him and I was like, 'No, not gonna happen.' He's way too good man, we could have a good match, and we did. I mean we gave 'em a version of what they wanted, but we gave 'em a hell of a match." - Batista discusses his backstage heat with Daniel Bryan
April 1, 2014
Jim Ross
"There's nothing unresolved. My relationship with WWE is exactly what we want it to be. I'm staying very busy and doing something for WWE Network on an ongoing basis would be challenging. They've moved on and so have I with no regrets." - Jim Ross on his backstage heat with Vince McMahon and WWE
April 1, 2014
Colt Cabana
"Yeah, a lot of people tweeted it towards me. I think he is entitled to his opinion. You can't fault people for having an opinion. Luckily for me, I've never been put in a position to hire and fire people, and he was in that position and he can't hire everybody. I'm one of the people that Jim Cornette didn't want. Obviously the people that he didn't want aren't going to be happy about it. That's life. I could hold a grudge, but I don't. I understand that you have to hire and you have to fire and the ones that you fire aren't going to be happy. It's about going on and moving on. Luckily, I've done way bigger and better things since leaving Ring of Honor. Maybe it was a mistake by them for letting me go, and maybe it wasn't if they're happy with the direction that they've gone. I don't hold any grudge against Jim. I'm almost kind of thankful that I was able to go on to better places in my career." - Colt Cabana addresses the backstage heat he has with Jim Cornette
March 21, 2014
CM Punk
"It's all speculation based upon my experience with WWE and with CM Punk, but WWE has a very bad habit of not following through with story lines. That's probably one of the reasons that Punk stepped away. He know the fans aren't stupid. He came into WWE with a fantastic following, but WWE didn't understand it and kept him in developmental longer than they should have. He kept fighting and finally got on to the main roster and proved himself to the WWE office and the 'fantastic' writing staff. They think that whatever they put out there, they can shove down the fans' throats and they'll buy it. They have a very contorted view of the wrestling business." Trevor Murdoch talking about why CM Punk might have backstage heat with WWE
March 18, 2014
CM Punk
"I don't know any facts on CM Punk. I had the honor of wrestling Punk in his first main events in WWE, including a cage match in Madison Square Garden. I have always enjoyed Punk and being around him. I certainly wish him the best. Hope he comes back, but whatever happens, my best to him." - JBL discussing the backstage heat situation involving CM Punk
March 8, 2014
Big E Langston
"I think it'd be great. Obviously I'm not really aware of what's going, but I think there's a lot of people who desperately want him back, a lot of fans who would be excited to have him back. If that were to be the case, if he did return, I think there'd be a huge buzz around it. I think it would definitely be a positive thing. Like I said, I'm not sure particularly what's going on, if there's a chance or even a possibility or if it's imminent. But I know if he did return there'd be a lot of buzz and a lot of happy fans as well." - Big E Langston discussing the backstage heat situation with CM Punk
February 22, 2014
CM Punk
"Well, I had that happen. Stone Cold did that and went home. And he regrets it to this very day. Because he just--you never get into a situation where--there's a couple of basics things here. One is that you don't want to get into a situation where it becomes easy for you as a professional or in private life to start breaking commitments. And a contract is a commitment. I think that the other thing is that you never get--you never save enough money nor can you live a starkness existence. The way you got all the money you're ever gonna need and you live good money laying behind. I personally don't believe in that. And I think a lot of the wrestlers over the years would say the same thing. So I'm not a fan of anybody in any walk of life exiting before it's time. But I also don't know all the information. This may have been a situation where Punk needed to take his leave and recharge his batteries a long time ago. I don't know. I haven't been there. And I have observed his privacy by not reaching out to him in several weeks." - Jim Ross compares the backstage heat incidents involving CM Punk and Steve Austin
February 15, 2014
Chavo Guerrero

"Say what you want about him and not like him. Believe me, I have and I will take some of that back because the guy is a really good guy. He is a cool dude and you can see why he's in the position he's in because he's a hard worker and he really gives to his fans."

- Chavo Guerrero discussing backstage heat with John Cena

February 1, 2014
Natalya Neidhart

"I think I'm still trying to figure out the reasons between Natalya Neidhart and I. It's something we're both trying to iron out and to be very honest with you, I kind of don't get it. As strong, beautiful, powerful women like the WWE Divas are, we should always support each other and always uplift each other."

- Summer Rae discussing backstage heat within Total Divas

January 31, 2014
CM Punk

"To see CM Punk, I just think that he was backed into a corner, he got a little frustrated and he took his ball and went home. I think one of two things will happen. I think Vince McMahon will fly out to Chicago or wherever he is, work some Jedi mind trick and convince him to come back, or maybe he will think through the process - and he's got a lot of years left in the tank - and never leave money on the table when you can go ahead and make that money."

- Steve Austin discussing the backstage heat situation in WWE

January 31, 2014
CM Punk

"Thanks for all the support. Keep being you guys, it's pretty cool."

- CM Punk thanking WWE fans, which might double as a clue about the backstage heat going on

January 29, 2014
Mick Foley

"OK, admit it, it's getting tougher to dislike Eva Marie, isn't it? Not a bad kid, just a little misguided."

January 17, 2014
Jim Ross

"The more I read online about the daily drama in various pro wrestling organizations makes me happy that I'm not engaged full time in that world. Don't get me wrong, I will always be a fan and support the genre but dealing with today's athletes is a taxing, never ending saga. It was somewhat simpler in the old days but certainly far from not having issues in which to address. I'm of the belief that many of today's issues have to do with the generation that many of the talents have grown up in and how they have been parented."

January 17, 2014
Diamond Dallas Page

"Bischoff was a genius. He could be an asshole at times. I had an amazing relationship with him. We don't even talk today, which is so f---ed up to me, and it's his fault, because he sucks on the phone. We don't even have a relationship anything like we had, but at the time, it was a real relationship... (Now) he doesn't even return a phone call, which is so obnoxious."

January 16, 2014
Jay Bradley

"Unfortunately, I think she has become the Internet Wrestling Communities scapegoat for anything that goes wrong. How that happened, I really don't know. As far as the internet wrestling fans that are diehard in general, they are some of the most passionate people out there next to like fantasy football guys and NASCAR fans. The unfortunate thing is you do something positive, they'll give you an inch of praise. You do something slightly negative they don't like, their going to give you a mile of hate. Sometimes I don't want to say less is more, but they always can't sit back and enjoy a lot of times, they are hypercritical about things. I do think she (Carter) gets a bad rap."

January 16, 2014
Daniel Bryan

"Another thing Bill DeMott said at the WWE camp is that WWE retrained Daniel Bryan or he wouldn't be as good as he is today."

January 15, 2014
Joey Ryan

"At the WWE camp, Bill DeMott said nobody on the indies is as good as NXT guys. I'd LOVE to debate Bill DeMott on what he thinks "good wrestling" is."

January 15, 2014
AJ Styles

"Well I've definitely have had a couple of tweets, with some being angry with me. And I'm not going to retweet them, I'm not going to respond to them. I'm not going to respond to someone who is just being a jerk even though I want to. Just a number of things, like for instance some guy said that "AJ, if you're done with TNA, then that's a big F you to me." Like saying I'm screwing him. My argument would be to him if you would like to pay me to work there then I'd be more than happy. Negotiations are what they are and sometimes you can't agree on something and at some point you need to make a decision that benefits your family. One guy brought up this--this is the most ridiculous thing--did you know that I guess, Ring Of Honor's website there is an under 18 kind of--I don't know, soft porn or whatever it is, that sponsors them? I don't know if it sponsors the website, I don't know anything about it. I'm not filming any movies with soft porn if it makes him feel any better. I'm not doing that. I am there to wrestle and that's it. I'm sure if we knew where a lot of money comes from; from different businesses; we would be less likely to support them. I am supporting my family. That's the bottom line. It has nothing to do with some soft porn site. I don't really know what it is. And he's attacking my beliefs. And I want to say to this guy "well you without sin, throw the first stone." They always want to bash something that you do. No matter what it is but it relies on me taking care of my family and what I think is right for them."

January 5, 2014
Jim Ross

"Perhaps. We will see. It's not a big deal or a secret. I'm happy to be out on my own and look forward to an awesome 2014. I'm not angry at anyone nor do I hold any grudges. I know who was right and who was wrong. That's life."

January 5, 2014
Bruiser Brody
Older wrestling fans took quite an interest in WWE inducting Carlos Colon into the hall of fame this year. Many were expecting to see some backstage heat incident taking place because there are still many people in the industry who blame Colon for his involvement in the murder of Bruiser Brody. Cooler heads prevailed, and the situation went pretty smoothly for WWE.
April 15, 2014
Hulk Hogan
Much was made about the longstanding backstage heat between Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior over this past week, but according to Hogan, the two of them finally got a chance to make up. The WWE legends reportedly met, talked, shook hands and even hugged one another. Hogan was sitting in the front row when Warrior was inducted into the hall of fame on Saturday night.
April 9, 2014
Ultimate Warrior
An almost surreal picture of Vince McMahon hugging the Ultimate Warrior during Wrestlemania 30 weekend. The two have a long history of backstage heat, and many within the company felt that a reconciliation was never going to happen.
April 9, 2014
Hulk Hogan
During an interview this week, Hulk Hogan hinted that there was still backstage heat between himself and the Ultimate Warrior. Hogan, however, said that he is going to squash issues between the two of them when they finally meet up at Wrestlemania 30 weekend. The two of them have yet to speak to one another, Hogan revealed.
April 5, 2014
Brie Bella
Having been able to capture the attention of a lot of people with just the first two episodes this season, Total Divas has now become a show that fans are looking forward to. The next episode will feature an interesting story line, where Summer Rae will flirt with Daniel Bryan, which causes some backstage heat between the blonde bombshell and Brie Bella.
March 27, 2014
Bret Hart
During an interview session with fans in Manchester, Bret Hart revealed that he has still has some backstage heat with Hulk Hogan. He cited an incident back in 1993, where Hogan refused to shake his hand while he was talking to Brutus Beefcake. Hart states that he and Steve Austin did the same thing back to Hogan much later on.
March 25, 2014
Darren Young
The latest rumors on Titus ONeil is that there is backstage heat on him within WWE, as management has been booking him in multiple losses at live events. During a show this weekend, ONeil lost a match to Darren Young before issuing an open challenge and being decimated by Mark Henry. In the third match, he teams up with Wade Barrett to lose to both Young and Henry.
March 23, 2014
Balls Mahoney
A video of a match between Balls Mahoney and Marty Jannetty, where Jannetty hit Mahoney with a chair shot during that match that caused the former ECW star to throw up immediately afterwards. This was the incident that caused some legitimate backstage heat between Jannetty and several of the veterans on the independent wrestling circuit, most notably Elijah Burke.
March 23, 2014
Bray Wyatt
When Bray Wyatt went on Monday Night Raw to cut a promo against John Cena, he used the term "plastic girlfriend" to describe Nikki Bella. Some wondered if there would be backstage heat for that, but it turns out that Wyatt actually told her about it beforehand. He even apologized before doing it. Everyone backstage really enjoyed the segment.
March 22, 2014
Bret Hart
During a recent interview, Bret Hart revealed that he was supposed to wrestle the Ultimate Warrior at Royal Rumble 1993. Since he had some backstage heat with Vince McMahon, Warrior ended up leaving the company before the pay per view, so Hart ended up defending the WWE heavyweight championship against Scott Hall instead.
March 21, 2014
CM Punk
While the backstage heat between the two sides could subside still, the belief right now is that CM Punk will not be included in the WWE 2K15 video game that is coming out this fall. Management has started taken the painstaking steps to remove the former world heavyweight champion from a variety of projects, and the belief is that he will not be a playable character.
March 20, 2014
JBL
For the longest time, people backstage in WWE have been trying to figure out who was behind a Vince McMahon parody account on Twitter, as a lot of the stuff being said was insider information. Speculations have arisen that JBL might be the culprit. If proven to be true, there could be massive backstage heat between the two, as McMahon is said to hate the account.
March 19, 2014
Jim Cornette
During a recent interview, Jim Cornette was asked about his backstage heat with Kevin Steen. The longtime NWA manager stated that he was not sure why Steen hated him. Cornette did promote himself by stating that he was the one that got Steen a better contract, a long title reign in ROH and a few other perks.
March 19, 2014
Bray Wyatt
On Monday Night Raw, a slight buzz was created when Bray Wyatt used the term "plastic girlfriend" during a promo with John Cena, a reference to the fact that his real life girlfriend Nikki Bella has breast implants. There is said to be no backstage heat between the two over the segment, as WWE officials have given them both a bit of creative freedom in this feud.
March 18, 2014
CM Punk
Ever since the episode of Monday Night Raw in Chicago, the backstage heat towards CM Punk has risen tremendously, as management is starting to believe that the former world heavyweight champion will not be returning to the company to work Wrestlemania 30. The belief is that WWE will be pushing Daniel Bryan as a jab at Punk.
March 16, 2014
JBL
Even though they both participated in the public bashing of Jim Ross on Monday Night Raw, there is said to be no backstage heat towards JBL and Jerry Lawler because everyone is aware that they were only following orders from a vengeful Vince McMahon. Both JBL and Lawler really enjoy their jobs, so it made sense for them to do what McMahon demanded.
March 15, 2014
Ken Shamrock
During a recent interview, Ken Shamrock was asked about the backstage heat between he and Triple H, and the former UFC champion stated that HHH did not want him back in WWE because he had to put over Shamrock several times in the past. Shamrock noted that HHH has a history of being upset when asked by management to put others over.
March 13, 2014
CM Punk
While the company has maintained their composure about him walking away, there is now massive backstage heat on CM Punk because he will be making an appearance on the Talking Dead this weekend. Many feel that if he can fly to Los Angeles to work the show, then he could have showed up at Monday Night Raw to talk to Vince McMahon or Triple H while they were in Chicago.
March 13, 2014
AJ Lee
Since it has now become quite apparently to everyone in the company that CM Punk is not coming back, the feeling backstage is that the backstage heat has now been transferred over to AJ Lee. Some feel that WWE will be punishing her because of her real life relationship with Punk. There's even talks that she will not be working Wrestlemania 30.
March 11, 2014
CM Punk
While making an appearance at the Wizard World Comic Con show in Sacramento over the weekend, Sheamus was asked by fans about the backstage heat situation involving CM Punk. Nick Dinsmore
In a show of resilient he is, Yoshi Tatsu refuses to give up on his dreams of being on the main roster with WWE again. He has been spending extra time with Nick Dinsmore, one of the lead trainers for the company, at the WWE Performance Center, working on his stamina and gaining some pointers on how to present his character on television.
February 15, 2014
Rob Conway
While working in OVW, Rob Conway was recruited to join a stable called Bolin Services. The group is now notable because it consisted of guys who all would eventually end up making a name for themselves in WWE. The stable consisted of Conway, Nick Dinsmore, Bull Buchanan, Mark Henry and future heavyweight champion John Cena.
January 27, 2014
Nick Dinsmore

Aside from working as a trainer, Nick Dinsmore is also making appearances for NXT as well. At a live event in Tampa this week, the former WWE star showed up in the ring to save Santa Claus and his diva helpers from an attack by Aiden English.

Former WWE stars Eugene and Scotty 2 Hotty were both in attendance at the stand up comedy show by Mick Foley last night in Orlando.

Mr Anderson
"That was actually my idea. I said in passing one day, 'What about me dressing up as old Sting?' I mean, I had the blonde hair. And Sting actually loved it. Those outfits that I wore were actually Sting's old gear. And he painted my face. A cool moment. Looking back on that, I would have to slide him into that group of most significant opponents that I've had." - Mr Anderson talks about working with Sting
April 18, 2014
AJ Styles
"It's nuts to think that we could have four major wrestling promotions in the United States. Jeff's very smart, there's no doubt about it. He knows what he's doing, and always has a backup plan. He took TNA from nothing and turned it into something that's still around 12 years later. That's pretty darn good. That's an accomplishment right there. I trust Jeff. I trust him to put on something good, and something that people will watch." - AJ Styles on Jeff Jarrett and his new Global Force Wrestling
April 18, 2014
Mick Foley
"He was an intense guy, and he was a perfectionist. His career was based on looking as good as possible. That meant eating as good as possible, training as hard as possible, avoiding anything that a normal human being might reach out to in their everyday culinary affairs." - Mick Foley on the diet that Ultimate Warrior had
April 17, 2014
Jesse Neal
"It is funny how people make fun about real jobs and wrestlers. We are human, too. I have a family to provide for. So, yes, I manned up and provide. The biggest joke of all is I get paid way more at Walmart than I ever did in TNA and on time. What a waste of time. Print that. Don't think that this is bitterness. I'm not on their show any more. Remember, I left them. They didn't leave me." - Jesse Neal talks about his new job in life
April 17, 2014
Bray Wyatt
"So happy for Bray Wyatt. You deserve your moment, brother." - JTG praising Bray Wyatt before his match against John Cena at Wrestlemania 30
April 17, 2014
Jey Uso
"Obvious that Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso have committed to getting main event phsyical conditioning. I wish them well. They had in ring skills when they were eight years old. That's a fact." - Jim Ross praising the Usos
April 17, 2014
Ultimate Warrior
"I was told it was reported WWE was 'there' for us. 'There' is the understatement of a lifetime. They were a warm blanket to us three and we were quickly absorbed into their family. Words are cheap; promises are forever. This family is one I'm honored to be a member of and will gladly be the warm blanket to any of them who need me next." - the wife of the Ultimate Warrior informing fans of how much WWE has helped her since the death of her husband
April 16, 2014
Brutus Magnus
"I'm as grateful to Sting as anybody in the wrestling business for the benefit he has had in my career. Steve is a great guy and very very smart and just a model citizen as far as the way he conducts himself and how much respect he commands. There are some people who seem to be obsessed with respect and seem to be obsessed with guys not showing them enough respect but Sting is a guy who has never had to pull any stunts, never had to bully anyone, never had to throw his weight around or pull rank; he commands respect. The same could be said about Kurt Angle." - Brutus Magnus discusses how Sting is backstage
April 15, 2014
Jeff Jarrett
"Seems like TNA is signing their core talents whose contracts are either up or in need of revising. WWE has seemingly made it clear that they have no interest in Impact talents and will instead reply on their Performance Center for their future stars. However, with Jeff Jarrett preparing to launch another promotion it makes sense for TNA to be proactive." - Jim Ross reveals that WWE is not interested in TNA performers
April 15, 2014
Antonio Cesaro
"Not sure why as a fan I should dislike Cesaro and it can't be simply because he's aligned himself with Paul Heyman. Cesaro simply outwrestles people and is damned impressive while doing it. Some of Cesaro's matches down in NXT the last year or so were better than anyone on RAW was having at the time." - Jim Ross thinks Antonio Cesaro should do a face turn
April 15, 2014
Christopher Daniels
"A unique athlete, it's funny because he was a book that was judged by his cover, for a very long time and it took a while to get him into TNA and we were always fighting to get him in. Everybody was like 'we gotta change his look and blah blah blah,' but finally when they gave him the chance, he showed them that you didn't need to judge him by the cover because he brings a unique intensity and a unique character to TNA and I think it would be a different TNA without him. He has changed the business." - Christopher Daniels discusses Samoa Joe
April 15, 2014
Jim Ross
"I assume that he hasn't signed with WWE only because WWE hasn't announced it. Signing Sting would create positive news for WWE as he is a major star that WWE can monetize in a variety of ways if he comes aboard. I don't see Sting even needing to wrestle to be a viable asset to WWE if he does sign with the company. If Sting did have one match it WWE it would need to be a long build, much anticipated one that has a significant payoff at a major event more specifically Wrestlemania 31." - Jim Ross talks about the rumors of Sting signing with WWE
April 15, 2014
Davey Richards
"I never really wanted to go to WWE. The tryout there was awesome. It was really fun and I can't say enough good things and I learned a lot, but I told a few of the guys during the initial tryout with Eddie that this was not for me just because moving down to Orlando is not what I wanted to do and wrestling is not the only thing I want to do with my life. To give up everything and just live in that world is not my idea of a great life or a perfect life. TNA offered me to be able to wrestle with some of the best wrestlers in the world, I could be on television, I could go and entertain crowds but I could still come home and be Wes. I could be Davey, then I could be Wes. It was just better for me and I couldn't be happier in TNA it's been great." - Davey Richards on choosing TNA over WWE
April 14, 2014
Marty Jannetty
"Happiest guy living right now. Wish I was there to watch her grow up, but so happy to be given this gift now. And from here on, I'm going to be a different person than I have been. Will be the best daddy ever, or at least the best one I can be. I'm the happiest guy on this planet right now. Now, I get it. To all the boys who have told me how it's life changing when you have a kid, man, had no kids, so I didn't get it. Now I do. That's my girl. Guys, don't you dare look at her twice. Bad ankles and all, I will make sure you never look at my daughter like that again. Love you, Bianca." - Marty Jannetty after finding out that he has a daughter
April 14, 2014
Paul London
"I've always admired and looked up to Terry Funk. Never did I actually think I'd be walking just like him. Knees hurt." - Paul London explaining how much of a toll the wrestling business gives to the body

Alexa Bliss
"I cannot believe it. So shocked and saddened by the news of the Ultimate Warrior passing. Rest in peace. Prayers." - Alexa Bliss on the death of Ultimate Warrior
April 12, 2014
Lance Storm
"Crazy story. While we were away, my mom found a briefcase and sales material scattered beside our house by the fence. She gathered them up and then tried to find some personal info to see who lost the stuff. She found a busienss card and called. Person who answered said the case was stolen out of her car over a year ago in Victoria, BC. No idea how it got to Calgary in our yard over a year later. Weird." - Lance Storm tells a weird story that took place at his house
April 12, 2014
