While doing an interview to promote his upcoming Ballers television series, Dwayne Johnson revealed that at one point during the Attitude Era, there were plans in place for he and Ray Lewis to team up at Wrestlemania. Scheduling conflict prevented the NFL legend from being able to wrestle. Johnson and Lewis played college football together.

WWE signing Moose

Since he is making his way up the industry, Moose has generated a good amount of attention from the bigger promotions in the business. He has been given a nice push by ROH. Jeff Jarrett signed the former NFL player to work his upcoming GFW tour. TNA is said to have him on the radar as well. Now, reports have surfaced that WWE attempted to sign the 31 year old for their upcoming season of Tough Enough. They wanted him to be a ringer.

Sting son gets NFL tryout

During this time of the year, hundreds of athletes try to make their dreams come true by impressing an NFL team enough to earn a roster spot when the season starts in the fall. A young tight end from the University of Kentucky is doing just that with the Kansas City Chiefs. His name is Steven Borden. For those that are not aware, he has a pretty famous father that just worked a match at Wrestlemania. He is the man called Sting.

Booker T postpones camp

Initially, Booker T had planned on running a professional wrestling camp for industry hopefuls on May 31, 2015 since his service was not needed by WWE at a live event. When management made the last minute decision to change that show into the Elimination Chamber pay per view, it caused a scheduling conflict for the former world heavyweight champion. Booker had no choice but to postpone his camp for a later date.

Moose to GFW

One of the wrestlers announced by GFW earlier today was Moose. He will be an official member of the roster. The former NFL star has been developing his trade in ROH for the past year. That has led to questions from the internet wrestling community about the status of his contract with his current employer. The belief is that Quinn Ojinnaka signed a one year deal with Ring of Honor, so he will more than likely work non televised events until it expires next month.

WWE Network free in May

Since the promotion is quite effective in inflating the number of subscribers, the WWE Network will be available for free in May. This is the first time that management has opted to do it in consecutive months (April was free as well). That means that fans will be able to watch Payback for free. Vince McMahon is hoping that the move will enable them to finally break the 1.5 million mark, which would then be flaunted at potential investors.

Miz written off

Some conflicting reports are going around in regards to what WWE has planned for Miz. Some are saying that he will be written off on Monday Night Raw during his match against Damien Sandow, who is trying to gain the rights to the name and likeness. However, there are also reports floating around that the former world heavyweight champion is still scheduled to work the upcoming episodes and the Extreme Rules pay per view.

It is not very often that you're going to see Dennis Miller being replaced by a professional wrestler, but that is exactly what is happening at the Podcast Awards. Due to a scheduling conflict, Miller had to back out of his duties as the host. Event organizers decided to replace him with Chris Jericho, who has one of the more popular podcast interview shows around. Jericho will be teaming up with Emily Morse, and the show will take place on April 14.

Perro Aguayo cause of death

ABC News has now reported the cause of death for Perro Aguayo, a huge wrestling star in Mexico. It has now been revealed that he suffered three fractured vertebrae during the match. There are still conflicting reports, however, on when he actually died. Some are saying that he passed away while still in the arena, while others are saying that he still had vital signs at the hospital. An investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
