The question now becomes, "Who will replace Rusev at Elimination Chamber?" The front office has been tossing around ideas backstage, and the popular choice seems to be Bray Wyatt. Those that oppose the move do not want to see him taking a loss at the pay per view.

Rusev injured at Smackdown

A big change might be needed for the Intercontinental Championship match at Elimination Chamber, as news has now leaked that Rusev was injured during the Smackdown taping on Tuesday. He worked a match against Ryback. The Bulgaria born wrestler was spotted in a wheelchair, while wearing a cast on his right leg and holding crutches. WWE has not made an official announcement in regards to the situation yet.

When the doctors checked his blood, they informed him of the bad news. Not wanting to cut his life short, Morishima decided to heed the advice of his doctors and decided to step away from the ring. The former ROH champion tried out for WWE, but was denied.
