Those that watched Smackdown this week have noticed that Wade Barrett has added a new wrinkle to gimmick. The WWE Intercontinental Champion has started doing a thing called the Bad News Zone, which is essentially a play on TMZ, the gossip website that routinely covers professional wrestling. There are talks that this could be a temporary thing, but as is usually the case with management, it all hinges upon the reaction from the audience.

Earlier in the day, word leaked throughout the world that Randy Savage was finally going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Reports have surfaced that the leak was intentional. Sources are stating that management purposely fed the information to TMZ, which enabled the news to spread even faster. There are those that believe that the company is doing the long awaited announcement tonight, in order to compete with the college football championship.

TMZ covers Hardy injury

More often than not, the majority of wrestling news remain exclusive to those that follow the industry closely. However, the reports about Jeff Hardy being serious injured during the taping of Lockdown, that has received some mainstream media attention. TMZ, which keeps a pretty close eye on WWE and TNA, picked up the story, and it has spread through social media. There are still talks that the injury is just a work.
