Update on What the Winner of WWE NXT Gets
While WWE revealed a few more details regarding the format of NXT on last night's show, they have still yet to make an official mention of what the winner of season one receives.
There have been several ideas thrown around such as the first place guy getting a RAW deal and the second place guy getting a Smackdown spot but that idea didn't come across too well. There is talk also of having something along the lines of two winners, putting them on each brand as a way of not burying one of the brands.
Bryan Danielson Interviewed About WWE NXT Debut Episode
WWE.com has posted an interview with Bryan Danielson, aka Daniel Bryan in WWE. During the interview he comments on his NXT debut and has the following to say concerning the injury he received when taking a fall onto the announce table on the debut show:
"Physically I’m a little banged up, but I’m no stranger to that. Mentally I feel very good about the show, and now I know a little more about what to expect, and that’s to expect anything. Any second they can pop up and say 'Hey, say something!' and you have to be ready. You could just be standing backstage and all of a sudden they grab you and go 'Hey, what do you think about what’s going on in the ring?' and you’ve got to be ready to say something."
Eric Bischoff Answers More Fan Questions
Eric Bischoff answered more questions on his Facebook page and here are a few highlights:
- On working with Ric Flair in TNA, given their past history: "Ric is a good friend and a great person. We all have our own short-comings and challenges in life, but Ric is one of he most gracious and generous people I know. I support him 100% and am proud to call him a friend"
- On whether Jim Cornette in TNA would be an asset: "I have never worked with Jim, so I can't honestly say if he has a perspective on the business today that would be an asset to the cause. Television is a dynamic business that becomes more challenging every day. If Jim (or anyone else for that matter) can bring a solid understanding of the psychology of what makes our business successful AND can apply that value to the process of being successful on a major cable network IN TODAYS MARKET, I would love to work with him. "
- On the March 8th show being as good or better than Jan. 4th: "VERY excited about the March 8th show. Jan 4 was all about a new beginning. March 8 will be all about story. On paper...one of the best shows I've seen in years."
- On WWE replacing ECW with NXT being a smart move: "I think it was a smart move. While I haven't seen the show yet, my understanding is that the format is unique and it will be a platform to introduce new talent."

"There was a mis-communication between SyFy and the programming guides. All of our programming is PG."
David Otunga & Jennifer Hudson Want to be Married in a WWE Wrestling Ring?
The following is an article from ContactMusic.com:
Grappling Bride Jennifer Hudson
Jennifer Hudson's fiance David Otunga would love the pair to get married in a wrestling ring.
Jennifer Hudson's fiance wants to marry her in a wrestling ring.
David Otunga - who is one of eight professional wrestlers appearing on the World Wrestling Entertainment's new reality show 'WWE NXT' - believes the squared circle would be the perfect place to tie the knot.
When asked whether the WWE could convince the couple to get married in the ring, David joked: "We could do that. I don't know if Jennifer would go for it, but I'd be up for it."
As for the date, he says it's set but won't reveal anymore information. He revealed to E! Online: "I can't divulge the date or anything but we definitely have the plans."
The couple met at Jennifer's 27th birthday party in 2008 and have a six-month-old son, David Jr., together.
Grappler David claims their child is already trying to follow in his singer mother's musical footsteps.
He revealed: "One of his favourite things is to hear the piano. Jennifer will play the piano or sing to him, and he will calm down immediately.
"We had a guy over once tuning the piano and he was pecking the keys, and David started trying to sing and imitate the notes. It was the most unbelievable thing."
