April WWE Magazine With 26 Different Covers
To go along with Wrestlemania 26, the April issue of WWE Magazine will feature twenty-six different covers featuring Bret Hart, Chris Jericho, Triple H, Undertaker, The Miz, Ted DiBiase, Evan Bourne, Edge, Batista, Big Show, Christian, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger, John Cena, Kane, MVP, Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, John Morrison, Rey Mysterio, R-Truth, Shawn Michaels, Sheamus and Santino Marella.

- RAW vs. Impact: I am not going to analyze the Monday night wrestling sagas of last night for many reasons. One, I'm not unbiased and two, there is PLENTY of analyzing going on from wrestling websites that do that sort of thing for a living. It can be said, however, that those fans who are yearning for longer matches and more matches in general on TV are likely still yearning. Plus, and finally, some people forget apparently that they are producing 'episodic' television.
- Women's Wrestling: We're still getting emails from peeved fans about my stance on women's wrestling. For those who love to rant, not read and not pay attention to what I have said, let's try this again. I am a fan of women in wrestling. I hired some major, female stars in my time. You can ask any female that ever worked on our roster and they will tell you that they were never disrespected by me. But, still, it is what it is. Women are currently positioned in the wrestling biz in a support role and one could easily make an argument that women in the wrestling biz, as a whole, are somewhat underutilized.
- WWE's New Shawn Michaels DVD: Fans of HBK or wrestling in general should grab the new Shawn Michaels DVD that is available today (Tuesday). I've seen it, I love it and it brings back a truck load of memories. I only wish I had been available to be the one interviewing Shawn for this project but that apparently wasn't an option. Buy the DVD and I promise that you will love the amazing array of bouts that, arguably, the best in the biz today, performed in on a high level even when he was a hot headed kid. I remember Shawn from his first territory and even remember the big Cowboy fining Shawn right after Shawn made his Mid South debut for inadvertently missing a TV taping because he did not know that EVERYONE came to TV whether their name was on the booking sheet or not.
Triple H Possibly Taking Time Off?
According to Dave Meltzer, Triple H is having problems with one of his quadriceps and could be looking to take some time off after Wrestlemania. However, since Undertaker and Shawn Michaels are also expected to be taking time off, HHH's break could end up being delayed.
Update on a Possible Triple H Heel Turn
There is talk again within WWE about turning Triple H heel later this year. This was talked about last year but put on hold because of the most recent DX reunion.

- About the Shawn Michaels-Undertaker video from RAW he said: Music has become such a large part of the wrestling scene and that fact was never more evident than the choice of music used in the HBK-Undertaker video package Monday night. I Tweeted (JRsBBQ) about this seconds after I saw it and I will willingly go into a hyperbole-free zone to say it was one of the best vignettes that I can ever remember seeing on a wrestling, TV show. Ever.
- About the Ric Flair domestic situation he said: Sorry to hear of the firestorm that my pal Ric Flair found himself in Sunday night. "Naitch" and I have been friends for over a quarter of a century and I choose to remain steadfastly behind him. We don't know all the details of this unfortunate matter nor do we need to know all the details. What we all should do is to hope that this matter is resolved to everyone's happiness and all involved parties can proceed with their lives.
- About Wendi Richter's Hall of Fame induction he said: Congrats to Wendi Richter for her HOF announcement. If my memory serves me correctly, as a young lady Wendi lived in Louisiana and was a big time Mid South Wrestling fan. As the story goes, or so I've been told, she approached Mid South's Grizzly Smith about breaking into the biz as a teen and he encouraged her to finish her formal education before Wendi finally went to train with Lillian (The Fabulous Moolah) Ellison in South Carolina. Nonetheless I'm happy for Wendi and was pleasantly surprised when her named was called.
4 Matches Confirmed For Wrestlemania
It was revealed on RAW that Edge will face Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 26 for the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge made his decision after coming to the ring and spearing Jericho.
Also on RAW it was revealed that Shawn Michaels would in fact get a second chance to end The Undertaker's undefeated Wrestlemania streak, as it will be Michaels-Taker II at Wrestlemania 26. However this time, if HBK loses, his career is over.
Money in the Bank will be returning this year, with Christian winning the first qualifying match on RAW.
And finally, it was announced on RAW that Batista will defend the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 26 against John Cena. Cena won the rights in a match with Batista, where Batista purposely got himself disqualified to put Cena into the match with him at Wrestlemania.
How Shawn Michaels Got Under the Ring
According to several people in attendance, Shawn Michaels was escorted to the ring last night surrounded by a group of referees during the replay of the WWE Title Elimination Chamber match before the World Title Chamber. The lights went out before the replay and the WWE officials walked down to the ring with Michaels hidden in the middle of them.
Notes From WWE Elimination Chamber
- The dark match before tonight’s Elimination Chamber PPV in St. Louis saw Christian defeat Ezekiel Jackson.
- According to several people in attendance, there was an incident during The Undertaker's entrance where his gear briefly caught on fire due to a pyro mishap.
- After the PPV ended, Shawn Michaels kept staring at The Undertaker until they made eye contact. Shawn’s music played and he slowly walked back to a mixed reaction with more boo’s than cheers. Taker got up, the lights went purple, his music played and he went to the back.
Updates on The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels
It appears Undertaker will once again be taking time off following Wrestlemania this year as he was pulled from all advertising for the company's annual spring European tour this past week.
Shawn Michaels is also expected to take time off following Wrestlemania.
Royal Rumble Statistics
Shawn Michaels' six eliminations in this year's Royal Rumble match gives him 37 for his career, beating Steve Austin's previous record of 36. The list goes on with Undertaker at 35 eliminations, Kane at 34 and Triple H with 26.
Regarding most time spent in a Royal Rumble match in a wrestler's career, Triple H is leading at 231 minutes and 12 seconds, Shawn Michaels is second with 213 minutes and 34 seconds while Kane comes in at number three with 173 minutes and 46 seconds.
