Taz Elaborates On His Original Post on the End of ECW
ECW original and TNA announcer Taz has posted a message on his Facebook.com page regarding Vince McMahon's announcement that ECW is shutting down once and for all in 3 weeks.
Last night on Twitter, Taz wrote "thank god" WWE's version of ECW is done and sarcastically called McMahon not thanking Paul Heyman or the ECW originals a "classy" move. On Facebook, Taz explains exactly what bothered him about McMahon's announcement:
"Point is, why not acknowledge the Paul Heymens contributions to the industry? Or, saying thanks to all the ECW original wrestlers? A lot of blood, sweat and tears were dropped during the original ECW's life! If you are going to thank cameramen & directors (etc) than acknowledge the past history because its well deserved.
Even if Vince McMahon did not feel Paul Heyman and the ECW originals deserved to be acknowledged, Taz feels Vince once again left money on the table by not getting the most out of an asset he bought:
"If you utilized the letters ECW to make a lot of $$$ over the past several years I would assume that your respect the history of ECW? If you would produce and sell a successful DVD documenting the companies history...I would assume you feel that the original ECW history has value....than why not give it a proper send off?"
He concluded the message by saying he's happy the ECW letters are being retired, as they deserve to rest in peace.

Paul Heyman Posts New Blog Defending Brock Lesnar
The following is an excerpt from a new article over at the Heyman Hustle website at CraveOnline.com:
The Latest on Brock Lesnar's Health and UFC Future
Saturday, 21 November 2009
As the world focuses in on UFC 106 weekend, the 800 pound gorilla in the room is the health and future of Undisputed UFC Heavyweight Champion of the world Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar, who is the biggest pay per view attraction on the UFC roster, was sidelined with an illness, reported to be Mononucleosis, that forced him to pull out of his scheduled UFC 106 main event Title defense against the undefeated Shane Carwin.
But the seriousness of Lesnar's condition was unknown at the time, even to the big man himself. The former WWE "Next Big Thing" had a hole in his intestines, and fluid was spilling into his system. At first wanting to keep his condition a secret, Lesnar had no choice but to inform UFC President Dana White, who was trying to get Lesnar to accept a January 2nd rescheduled date for the title defense against Carwin.
In an exclusive blog posted here on the Hustle, our own Hustler de Tuti Hustlers PAUL HEYMAN COMMENTED ON BROCK'S CONDITION, saying:
"For those who want to talk trash about Brock Lesnar, go right ahead. He's not going to pay attention to you. He's not on the web, and he's only buzzed about things by a select few that he is willing to talk to. And while you're painting the picture of a faking, slacking, swine-flu infected Octagon-dodger, keep in mind that sooner rather than later, Brock Lesnar is going to step into the cage and defend that title. Whether he's defending the championship against the undefeated hard hitting knockout artist, or a confident self-promoter talking trash is up to Shane Carwin, who should definitely place a call to Frank Mir and ask "what is Brock's reaction when he finds out someone's been talking trash about him?"
Paul Heyman Blogs About What Brock Lesnar’s Health Problems Mean for the UFC
In his latest blog update at HeymanHustle.com, Paul Heyman talks about what Brock Lesnar's recent health problems mean for the UFC brand. Lesnar is UFC's top draw - with the shows he fights on drawing over 1 million pay-per-view buys. Heyman says that despite the setback, the UFC will survive because they've done a great job establishing their brand and earning the trust of their audience.
Shane Carwin Says That Brock Lesnar Should Not Be Stripped Of The UFC Title
In what appears to be ongoing controversy surrounding the current Brock Lesnar/UFC Championship situation, The Heyman Hustle has posted up an article containing a blog from Shane Carwin, the opponent Lesnar was supposed to face this month, in which Carwin says that UFC should NOT strip Lesnar of the Heavyweight Title. Carwin's official blog on the situation was originally posted on an MMA newsboard, and the following is an excerpt:
"You do not have to support Brock and his antics but you should have respect for the human side of what is happening here. Talk of stripping a man of his title due to illness will set this sport back farther then anything Brock has ever said. We need our Champions healthy and defending. I know the show will go on but to be a Champion you must beat a Champion."
Paul Heyman Blogs About Brock Lesnar Pulling Out Of UFC 106
Paul Heyman has written a blog detailing the recent health issues of UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, who had to pull out of a title defense later this month due to illness. To read the full blog, visit HeymanHustle.com.
“It was about three and a half weeks ago, when I was on the phone with Brock, and he sounded just so tired,” Heyman wrote. “I asked him if this training camp was harder than the others. He shocked me with his answer. ‘I’m just exhausted,’ he admitted, ‘I train, I come home, and I crash. I’m going to take a day or two off and just try to shake this thing.’ That was hint number one. Something was wrong.
“About a week later, Brock told me he was behind in his training camp. ‘I’m still going to beat Shane Carwin’s ass,” Brock said ‘then let’s go ice fishing or something. Whatever I have, it’s throwing me off my game.’??Uh oh. Hint number two. NOTHING throws Brock Lesnar off his game. Not injury, as I’ve seen him work through those. Not personal turmoil. I’ve seen his home life get turned upside down. He works through that as well.”
Heyman says Brock Lesnar has a great responsibility to compete at the highest level and simply cannot fight without proper training. “He really had no choice. He’s worked so hard, for so long, to find his passion in life. And now that he’s found it, he’s not going to half-ass a fight, whether Shane Carwin is the man to take the title from Brock, or whether Brock could whip Shane Carwin’s ass even if he’s battling pneumonia, swine flu, diarrhea, gonorrhea, syphilis, and sickle cell. The point is that Brock Lesnar could not train properly for a fight that would most likely be purchased by upwards of 1,000,000 people.,” Heyman said. “More people are expected to pay to see Brock Lesnar vs Shane Carwin on pay per view than this year’s WWE Wrestlemania. Just think about the responsibility of being that main event fighter.”
Heyman rejects any claims that Lesnar is full of himself and reveals that the champ passed on what could have been an epic movie role. “As for being spoiled by success, that’s LOL-funny. Brock has turned down movie roles, including an easy generous payday to do a fight scene with Dwayne “Don’t Call Me Rock” Johnson. He’s not looking for prime time exposure except when he steps into the Octagon and defends his title.”
