TNA Sending Hernandez to AAA
TNA is indeed sending one-half of the TNA Tag Team Champions Hernandez to the AAA promotion in Mexico, at least for a few appearances.
TNA Thinking of Sending Hernandez to Mexico?
TNA officials have spoken to the Mexican-based AAA promotion about sending Hernandez for an extended stay.
While this idea has come up in the past, there are some who feel he could become a legitimate star in Mexico. On the other hand, others fear Mexican wrestling fans could turn on him once they discover that he doesn't speak Spanish particularly well.
For those curious, Hernandez is of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent.
TNA Wrestlers Who Bischoff & Hogan May Fire Soon
Several longtime TNA wrestlers are said to be in danger of being let go now that Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are in charge. Bischoff in particular has been vocal backstage regarding who he likes and dislikes from a talent stand point.
Among the wrestlers whom Bischoff is not a fan of are Daniels, Eric Young, Homicide and The British Invasion — Brutus Magnus, Doug Williams and Rob Terry.
As far as Hogan is concerned, he is firmly against TNA using Frankie Kazarian's Suicide character so it's end may be near. To draw a similarity, Hogan recently made it clear to management that he felt the company could no longer use the Cody Deaner character. Deaner was subsequently let go within a short period of time.
Regarding those who Hogan and Bischoff see a lot in, they are Desmond Wolfe, Matt Morgan, Hernandez and AJ Styles.
Results of TNA’s Post-Impact Press Conference
TNA held their post-iMPACT press conference last night on mycontent.com with Dixie Carter, Jeff Jarrett, ODB, Homicide, Hernandez, Matt Morgan, Vince Russo, D'Angelo Dinero, Don West and Desmond Wolfe. Nothing really newsworthy came out of the conference.
Dixie Carter spoke and promised more surprises but said the ratings won't determine the success of last night's show. She said just having the live show is a success. She says they have always been competing with Vince McMahon and WWE but tonight they offered a choice for the first time. She said her goal is to make pro wrestling cool again. Carter mentioned that TNA was the number one trending topic in the world on Twitter tonight, as well as the most-searched for item on the official ESPN website.
Jeff Jarrett mentioned that he is looking forward to more iMPACT specials on Monday nights.
All the wrestlers appeared at the podium in character, talking up their current TNA storylines. Homicide told Jeff Hardy to watch his back because it now has a target on it.
TNA Wanting To Get Footage of Hernandez In Mexico
TNA's Terry Taylor recently contacted the offices of the AAA promotion in Mexico because TNA wanted to send Hernandez down to mainly get footage of him being mobbed in the streets of Mexico and headlining in front of big crowds to give the impression that he's a big star in that country, which he isn't.
