9 Additions to FCW Roster
Nine new names were added to the FCW (WWE's developmental league) online roster this week. Here’s a breakdown of who they are. They can all be seen at FCWwrestling.com...
- Cable Jones - Formerly Dr. Lamar Braxton Porter in WXW.
- Drake Brewer - Former All Japan tag champ Joe Doering
- Hunico - Formerly known internationally as Incognito & Mystico.
- Jacob Novak - FCW student.
- Jamie Keyes - Was briefly Kevin Nash’s arm candy, Brittany in TNA.
- Leo Kruger - Ray Leppan. Known in South Africa as Damien Duke
- Rudy Parker - Adam Atherton. Former OVW star Asher Knight
- Tamina - Sarona Snuka. Daughter of Hall Of Famer Jimmy Snuka.
- Tito Nieves - Cousin of Primo & Carlito Colon, Orlando Colon.
WWE Releases FCW Magazine
The first issue of WWE's FCW Magazine was introduced at the live event this past Thursday night. Kaval is featured on the cover.
Model Leaves FCW
The word going around Florida Championship Wrestling is that Jillian Beyor has already parted ways with WWE. Beyor, who was named Playboy's 2008 Model of the Year and was one of ten finalists for Playboy's 2009 Model of the Year, signed on as a developmental talent with WWE this past November.
WWE Signs OVW Wrestler to Developmental Contract
WWE has signed OVW wrestler Asher Knight to a developmental deal. Knight was in the news last year as WWE’s John Laurinaitis asked him to change his hairstyle before signing. Knight debuted at Thursday night’s FCW show under the name Adam Atherton, losing a match to Titus O’Neal.
WWE Signs New Developmental Wrestler
Tiger Raj Singh, the son of Canadian star The Great Gama Singh, has signed a WWE developmental and will be heading to Tampa, Florida to begin training soon. Singh was signed to a deal after paying to go through one of the recent FCW tryouts.
Update on Lance Cade’s WWE Status
According to the Wrestling Globe Newsletter, Lance Cade remains under contract to WWE but is simply not being used in any capacity. He worked a Florida Championship Wrestling event late last year and hasn't been seen since. Furthermore, no one knows when he'll be returning to television let alone which brand he'll end up on.
Power Struggle in FCW
There is a power struggle of sorts going on in WWE developmental as far as the influence goes between Steve Keirn and Dusty Rhodes.
Edge Saves Bryan Danielson & FCW Heavyweight Champion at FCW Tapings
Edge signed autographs at last night's WWE developmental tapings in Melbourne, Florida and later appeared in the ring to make the save for Bryan Danielson.
Danielson, now going under the name Daniel Bryan, was attacked after the main event by Curt Hawkins, Caylen Croft and Trent Beretta. Out of nowhere came Edge to the ring, taking out the three to save Danielson and FCW Heavyweight Champion Justin Angel.
Edge then shook hands with Angel and Danielson before posing for the crowd and leaving.
WWE Releases FCW Diva
It's possible that WWE has released developmental talent Jenny Quinn from her deal as she has been removed from the FCW roster page. Quinn was signed by WWE in 2008 and just recently returned to action from an injury that she suffered in May of last year.
Bryan Danielson Gets a Name Change
