It was revealed on RAW that Edge will face Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 26 for the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge made his decision after coming to the ring and spearing Jericho.

Also on RAW it was revealed that Shawn Michaels would in fact get a second chance to end The Undertaker's undefeated Wrestlemania streak, as it will be Michaels-Taker II at Wrestlemania 26. However this time, if HBK loses, his career is over.

Money in the Bank will be returning this year, with Christian winning the first qualifying match on RAW.

And finally, it was announced on RAW that Batista will defend the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 26 against John Cena. Cena won the rights in a match with Batista, where Batista purposely got himself disqualified to put Cena into the match with him at Wrestlemania.

Latest News on WWE NXT

WWE NXT debuts on February 23rd and the company is promoting the new show as innovative and even revolutionary. There has been talk that WWE NXT will feature young superstars from WWE's developmental system such as Bryan Danielson and Kaval (formerly Low Ki) in a show that's a hybrid of pro wrestling and reality TV.

Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) sent out a press release today discussing its involvement in NXT show, writing:

"With speculation rife regarding the imminent debut of WWE’s new television show ‘WWE-NXT,’ all FCW Superstars are sure to be at their best as they attempt to impress top brass in WWE and secure spots on the new show’s roster. And with Edge watching over the evening’s proceedings, the stakes have never been higher."

WWE superstar Edge will be appearing at Friday night's FCW show in Melbourne, Florida and was quoted in the press release talking about Florida Championship Wrestling and WWE NXT:

"In a couple of years, the majority of the Superstars you see on the show this Friday will have been drafted up to Raw or Smackdown , so I suppose it is also a great opportunity for me to get the scoop on who I’m going to be facing down the line."

Jim Ross Blog

Jim RossJim Ross updated his blog at JRsBarBQ.com and here are some highlights...

On Jack Brisco's Passing: I had a great conversation this morning with Ric Flair about our late friend Jack Brisco. Jack was one of Ric's mentors when Ric was preparing to become the traveling, NWA Champion. We both plan on attending Jack's services which will likely be next week in Tampa. I have been asked to speak at the service which is honestly one of the biggest honors of my life.

On HBK's Obsession: HBK's highway to WM26 seemed to become a gravel road Monday night as it's obvious that Shawn Michaels is "obsessed" with facing the Undertaker at 'Mania again. If or how Shawn gets there should make for some intriguing TV over the next few weeks. It's obvious that many fans want the ultimate return match but do we always get what we want?

On Edge's Return On RAW: Edge made an impactful return to WWE indy at the Rumble and made yet another impact Monday night with his verbal skills, adding a provocative twist to his WM26 future, and a well timed spear.

On RAW's Ending: With the way Raw left the air, I'm very curious as to how Bret Hart will attempt to orchestrate his physical retribution on Mr. McMahon. Someone will likely have hell to pay before all is said and done. The show closer left me wanting to see more of this saga.
