April WWE Magazine With 26 Different Covers
To go along with Wrestlemania 26, the April issue of WWE Magazine will feature twenty-six different covers featuring Bret Hart, Chris Jericho, Triple H, Undertaker, The Miz, Ted DiBiase, Evan Bourne, Edge, Batista, Big Show, Christian, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger, John Cena, Kane, MVP, Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, John Morrison, Rey Mysterio, R-Truth, Shawn Michaels, Sheamus and Santino Marella.
Post-Wrestlemania Plans for Bret Hart?
It looks like Bret Hart will be sticking around with WWE after Wrestlemania. He is currently being advertised for the WWE tour of Germany after Wrestlemania as a special enforcer in the main events of Edge vs. Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Title.
Possible Post Wrestlemania Feuds
RAW's annual post-Wrestlemania tour of Europe have John Cena and Triple H vs. Sheamus and Big Show, and Randy Orton vs. Christian as the advertised top matches in most cities, with Triple H vs. Randy Orton and John Cena vs. Sheamus headlining other cities. On the Smackdown side, Chris Jericho vs. Edge, and Rey Mysterio and Kane vs. CM Punk and John Morrison, are being advertised as the top matches in most cities, with Edge vs. Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk and Kane vs. Drew McIntyre in the remaining venues.
Chris Jericho Wins Award
Chris Jericho has been nominated for the "Most Metal Athlete" award at the Golden Revolver metal awards in Los Angeles on April 8th. Jericho will be also hosting the show that airs May 22nd on VH1 Classics.
Chris Jericho Comments On RVD’s Debut
Chris Jericho posted his thoughts on Rob Van Dam’s debut on Twitter. Chris Jericho wrote the following:
"The beat down of RVD 20 seconds into his debut in TNA was mind boggling. I dont understand how so many talented people can be so clueless"
Chris Jericho Calls Goldust Underrated
Chris Jericho posted the following message on Twitter page following the airing of his match with Goldust on Superstars last night:
"I really dug the match with Goldust last night," Jericho wrote. "He is in the best shape of his life and is as good as anybody in WWE. Very underrated."
Chris Jericho Makes Fun of Drew McIntyre
There are reports that Drew McIntyre's backstage nickname is Avatar, apparently because of the joke that his fiancé (former ECW General Manager Tiffany) controls him. This tidbit was brought to Chris Jericho's attention with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion saying on Twitter:
"Tru Dat. Looks just like a NaVi."
Daniel Bryan Suffers Minor Injuries at NXT Tapings
Daniel Bryan suffered a minor injury in his match with Chris Jericho on the premiere episode of WWE NXT when he dove out of the ring onto Jericho.
The injury isn't anything to be worried about as by the looks of things, Bryan only suffered some nasty scrapes to his back and leg. WWE has confirmed the injury to Bryan on their website.
4 Matches Confirmed For Wrestlemania
It was revealed on RAW that Edge will face Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 26 for the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge made his decision after coming to the ring and spearing Jericho.
Also on RAW it was revealed that Shawn Michaels would in fact get a second chance to end The Undertaker's undefeated Wrestlemania streak, as it will be Michaels-Taker II at Wrestlemania 26. However this time, if HBK loses, his career is over.
Money in the Bank will be returning this year, with Christian winning the first qualifying match on RAW.
And finally, it was announced on RAW that Batista will defend the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 26 against John Cena. Cena won the rights in a match with Batista, where Batista purposely got himself disqualified to put Cena into the match with him at Wrestlemania.
