TNA-AAA Talent Exchance?
TNA and top Mexican promotion AAA have seemingly come to a talent exchange agreement of some sort, as AAA announced yesterday that a TNA star would compete at the Rey de Reyes event on March 12th. Mr. Kennedy (which is how he is billed by AAA) will take part in a fourway match with Latin Lover, Electroshock and current AAA champion El Mesias (formerly Judas Mesias in TNA).
TNA Sending Hernandez to AAA
TNA is indeed sending one-half of the TNA Tag Team Champions Hernandez to the AAA promotion in Mexico, at least for a few appearances.
Teddy Hart Suspended From AAA
Teddy Hart was recently suspended by the AAA promotion in Mexico and it's possible that he won't be brought back. It's said that among other things happening against him, people were tired of hearing Teddy always talk about his uncle Bret Hart was bringing him to WWE as a member of the Hart Dynasty.
TNA Thinking of Sending Hernandez to Mexico?
TNA officials have spoken to the Mexican-based AAA promotion about sending Hernandez for an extended stay.
While this idea has come up in the past, there are some who feel he could become a legitimate star in Mexico. On the other hand, others fear Mexican wrestling fans could turn on him once they discover that he doesn't speak Spanish particularly well.
For those curious, Hernandez is of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent.
AAA Releasing Animated Movie
The AAA promotion out of Mexico has an animated movie coming out in the country on January 22nd. The hope is to do a sequel and a weekly spinoff animated TV show from the movie. AAA's video game release date has been pushed back to June of this year.
