Some sad news to report. Nick Bockwinkel has passed away. The former world heavyweight champion died at the age of 80. Not a lot of details have been released in regards to his death. Bockwinkel is vastly underrated. At one point in time, he was to the AWA what Ric Flair was to the NWA and Hulk Hogan was to WWE. Additional details on his death should be available later in the week.

WWE new advertisers

Since they are bringing Smackdown over to their network, NBC Universal has worked hard with Vince McMahon and WWE to increase the amount of advertisers that are on board. Thus far, their collective efforts have brought in 37 new advertisers. While that is good news, there is still a lot of concerns as the ratings have been dropping. If it keeps dropping, then there is a fear of losing those advertisers in the near future.

Adam Rose sister dies

Some sad news to report on Adam Rose. His sister passed away this week. The WWE star has traveled to South Africa to be there for her funeral. It is the first time in five years that Rose has been in the country. Through social media, he posted a farewell to his beloved sibling. Rose also noted that his sister spent her life trying to help others fight their own demons. It is believed that she left behind a child.

Backstage heat on Lana

There is said to be some major backstage heat towards Lana right now because she revealed to the world that she was engaged to Rusev in real life. When TMZ picked up on the story, which was easily done since she had posted the bit of news on social media, it forced WWE to abruptly change up the story line that they had going for the Bulgarian Brute and Summer Rae. Management hates when they have to do that.

In a surprising bit of news, Batista has revealed through social media that he has just gotten married to a woman named Sarah Jade. The move caught a lot of fans off guard because the former world heavyweight champion has done a good job of keeping the relationship private. The bride is a pole dancer down in Florida, and this is the third time that the former WWE star has been married in his life.

Once again, TNA is teasing a big announcement. Dixie Carter revealed through social media that she has some big news to share on Monday. Nothing has been confirmed at this point, but many are speculating that she could reveal the upcoming tour of India, where episodes of Impact Wrestling may be taped. As usual, the internet wrestling community will be expecting something much bigger, so they end up disappointed.

It looks like the company made a salary offer that was so low that it could be viewed as insulting. The star from Puerto Rico is still willing to listen to offers if the front office were to raise the amount of money being offered.

Some good news in regards to the injury that Sting suffered at Night of Champions during his WWE Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins. While it still seems quite severe, reports have surfaced that his neck is definitely not broken. Some are still considered that it might be a spinal injury. Regardless, though, management is said to be hesitant about using him in the ring again.

Lana injured while training

Some bad news for those of you that have been anticipating the in ring debut of Lana that WWE has been setting up over the past several weeks. She recently injured herself while training in the ring before a live event. Her left wrist was severely damaged, and company representatives are saying that she is going to require surgery that will keep her away from the ring for approximately four months.

Bret wants Owen induction

Great news for fans that want to see Owen Hart being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Bret Hart recently came out and said that he wants to see his younger brother being given the honors at the next Wrestlemania in Dallas. Bret even went as far as saying that he will refuse to attend another induction ceremony if it does not take place. He did state, however, that he would attend if he and Jim Neidhart were inducted as a team.
