Braun Strowman attacked by fan

After Monday Night Raw went off the air, Braun Strowman worked a dark match against Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns. During the match, Luke Harper suffered some sort of knee injury. However, the bigger news was the fact that Strowman was punched in the face by a fan. Security were quick to jump in and remove the fan from the arena. WWE has had several issues over the past years with fans attacking wrestlers.

Hayabusa

Hayabusa passes away

Some very sad news to report from Japan. Wrestling legend Hayabusa has been found dead. Early reports are saying that he passed away from a subarachnoid hemorrhage. The man known legally as Eiji Ezaki was just 47 years old. Ezaki had been bound to a wheelchair for more than a decade after suffering a horrific injury during a wrestling match. Some may remember Hayabusa from a series of matches that he did for ECW.

Sami Zayn at Wrestlemania

In a rather interesting bit of news, Sami Zayn is actually scheduled to work a match at Wrestlemania 32. He was scheduled to be in Dallas that weekend because he is wrestling Shinsuke Nakamura in a big match at a special NXT event. No word yet on what match Zayn is going to be wrestling in, but the guess is that it will more than likely be the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal, which may or may not take place before the pay per view.

Seth Rollins injures knee

Some bad news for Seth Rollins. While working a live event in Dublin, the world heavyweight champion suffered an injury in the ring. It was later revealed to be a tweaked knee. Since a lot of fans in Europe have paid money to see the champion, the belief is that Rollins is going to simply tape it up and tough it out. WWE will more than likely change up the match to protect the injury.

Undertaker and Kane reunion

Good news for those of you that want to see another reunion between Undertaker and Kane. You have a chance to witness that. However, you have to fly to Mexico to make that happen. The Brothers of Destruction will be joining forces when WWE tours the country in October. The two of them have been scheduled to work matches against Luke Harper and Braun Strowman, who will more than likely be doing the job for the veteran tandem.

Sting

Sting neck not broken

Some good news in regards to the injury that Sting suffered at Night of Champions during his WWE Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins. While it still seems quite severe, reports have surfaced that his neck is definitely not broken. Some are still considered that it might be a spinal injury. Regardless, though, management is said to be hesitant about using him in the ring again.

Sheamus cleared to wrestle

WWE received some very good news last night when Sheamus showed up at the arena. The medical staff was able to clear him of a concussion. He had been having symptoms since the last episode of Monday Night Raw. That enabled the creative department to include him in the final segment with Randy Orton and Seth Rollins, which possibly sets up a world heavyweight championship match between the three at Summerslam.

Mir disappointed with Lesnar

When asked for his opinions by the Sporting News, Frank Mir did not hesitate to say that he was disappointed that Brock Lesnar chose to stay with WWE instead of going back to UFC. The former world heavyweight champion felt that a rematch between the two would draw huge money for the promotion. Mir firmly states that he believes that Lesnar is quite the marketing asset for MMA.

Rusev injured at Smackdown

A big change might be needed for the Intercontinental Championship match at Elimination Chamber, as news has now leaked that Rusev was injured during the Smackdown taping on Tuesday. He worked a match against Ryback. The Bulgaria born wrestler was spotted in a wheelchair, while wearing a cast on his right leg and holding crutches. WWE has not made an official announcement in regards to the situation yet.

Jey Uso out six months

Some good news and bad news for the Usos. The good news is that Jey Uso successfully underwent surgery to repair a lot of injuries to his body. The bad news is that he is now required to miss approximately six months of action. That means that their involvement in the tag team division has to be halted. WWE might still use Jimmy Uso as a singles performer, but he will more than likely be relegated to working low profile matches.
