Jim Ross Blog
Jim Ross has updated his blog at JRsBarBQ.com and here are some highlights:
JR's health: "Grish and Striker had another nice show. I don't think that I will be needed back on Friday Night Smackdown any time soon which is a good thing for all involved for a variety of reasons... Got positive results Friday on my latest CAT SCAN this time for a lung issue. Now waiting on blood test results which I hope to have next week. I was told that the nerve in my face will regenerate likely one inch per moth so that looks like it might be 3-4 months until I'm facially ready for TV....or not....it could be next week if Mother Nature decides to give this Okie a break."
Ric Flair: "Ric Flair was on the radio remote from our place yesterday via phone and Naitch got hitched again Wednesday night at his home. Congrats to the newly weds. Ric leaves Sunday for Australia where he will wrestle four times in 14 days in addition to enjoying a honeymoon of sorts. Ric sounded in great spirits and talked football with the best of 'em."
RVD Talks About Returning For WWE or TNA
In an interview with The UK Sun, Rob Van Dam talked about joining TNA or possibly returning to WWE.
"TNA wrestle pretty much only in Florida, where my mom and dad live and is easy on the travel. Plus I'd be able to promote all my personal projects...very blatantly probably. But in WWE, just because there is so much more exposure and prestige involved, it probably makes up for a lot of what would be advantageous in TNA. Nobody ever considers that WWE would offer the same schedule as TNA do, but let's see if they want RVD badly enough. Anything could happen."
RVD then talked about how he was burned out at the end of his WWE run:
"So when my contract was up, I had an exit. I didn't quit, I finished my job and said: 'I'm done. Thank you for the opportunity. I'll come back when, and if, I feel the desire.' So far it's been two and a half years and I'm nowhere near ready to go back to full-time wrestling."
