Jericho Called An A$$hole For Using Slurs
The man who Chris Jericho used racial and homophobic slurs against at the Sacramento Horror Film Festival told TMZ.com that Jericho was an "asshole" and that Jericho's apology was "crap."
Mr. Lobo, the host of the film festival, said he was deeply offended by the insensitive remarks, saying that Jericho's claim that "everyone on stage was having a blast" was false.
"I don't think [Chris] has the capacity to give an honest apology," he said. "I don't think it's in his character."
Hulk Hogan Still Claiming He’s Going To Run TNA
Hulk Hogan appeared on the Bubba the Love Sponge show to talk about TNA. Hogan stated point blank that he was the new TNA booker and he talked about how he was going to be overseeing the company and changing things around. He said that his contract doesn't mention anything about wrestling and that he's "being brought in to run the show." When asked about Vince Russo, Hogan claimed he could fire Russo but is giving him "another chance." Finally, he said TNA is "spending big money now", so who knows what that means when it's coming from him.
Hogan has been plugging TNA on all of his recent book tour signings.
Sting Making His Return To Impact Next Week

The interview is pre-recorded and will be inserted into the show as Sting wasn’t at the tapings this past week.
WWE Raising PPV Prices and Officially Eliminating Judgment Day
The following memo was sent out by a worker in the cable industry:
As part of our ongoing efforts to maximize the WWE pay-per-view business, we have made several changes to our branding strategy in 2009. A key priority was to rename and retheme several of our events to better describe those pay-per-views and to build interest for our fans through new “hooks” and stronger themes.
In contemplating the future of the pay-per-view business, we would like to make you aware of two important changes we are making to our pay-per-view strategy in 2010.
1. WWE will increase the suggested retail price of its pay-per-view events (excluding WrestleMania), by $5.00, to $44.95. This change in the SRP shall become effective commencing with Royal Rumble, which will be held on January 31, 2010. This will be the first price increase for non-WrestleMania events since 2006. Please note that the SRP for WrestleMania will remain $54.95.
2. WWE is eliminating one of our June pay-per-view events (actually Judgment Day, although the July PPV is still unknown) therefore reducing the number of pay-per-view events in 2010 to 13 events. Please find the preliminary 2010 WWE pay-per-view event schedule below and attached.
The strategy of reducing our pay-per-view calendar to one event per month (except for October) achieves both creative and business objectives for WWE. It allows us to better develop compelling storylines and arcs in order to motivate our fans to purchase more pay-per-views. This change also allows for increased marketing windows for each event, during which we can more effectively communicate our sales message.

JR Blog
Jim Ross' has a new blog up at http://www.jrsbarbq.com/ - the following are among the highlights:
- "PPV's coming at us fans with such frequency is challenging to. process, prioritize and to afford. However, with the PPV business being such a vital part of any wrestling organization's bottom line, I would be surprised to see the number of PPV's decrease. So, it will come back to providing the consumer with what they are willing to and can purchase which will always be attraction driven fueled by button pushing creative which is no exact science."
- "I think Edge being 100 percent by Wrestlemania 26 is going to be a photo finish and I hope that I am wrong on that assumption. Edge had taken his game to another level prior to his injury and he will no doubt return to the ring fresher and ready to turn more heads if he makes sure that he is totally healthy. Torn Achilles obviously cannot be taken lightly. Edge would arguably need to be close to ready by January to really be able to capitalize on the promotional, TV build up for Phoenix or at least that's one school of thought."
- "Interesting to read where Jack Swagger wrestled John Cena this week in Dublin. Swagger vs. Cena is new and fresh and it also is a good for the young Okie to hunt with the big dogs. I applaud the pairing of these two former college athletes.
Maryse Returning Soon
In a radio interview with KiiM-FM 99.5 yesterday, WWE Diva Maryse said she should be returning to in-ring action in time for WWE's Survivor Series PPV.

News on Kimbo Slice’s Next Fight
The Northwest Indianna Times has the story:
Several published reports have surfaced in recent weeks indicating Ferguson will take on light heavyweight striker Houston Alexander sometime after the conclusion of the reality show's 10th season.
The Times has learned from a source close to the Alexander camp that the fight has indeed been agreed to and that it will be contested at a special heavyweight catch weight of 215 pounds on "The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale" on Dec. 5 at The Pearl at The Palms in Las Vegas.
According to the source, the fight was originally going to take place at light heavyweight. But Ferguson, the source said, is not able to make the drop to 205 pounds, and the two fighters agreed to the bout at 215 pounds. Ferguson weighed in at 230 pounds for his fight with Nelson on the show, which was filmed over the summer. And on a media conference call two days before that episode aired, he said he was then just short of 235 pounds.
