Turned Off By TNA
When Paul Heyman says that he has no interest in going to TNA, it's nothing personal. He doesn't hate the company. He doesn't hate the wrestlers.
What he doesn't like is the fact that if he were to join TNA, he would just be another piece in the cog as opposed to being able to do what he does best.
You see, a lot of uninformed wrestling fans believe that TNA would be "saved" simply by hiring Paul Heyman. As gifted as he is, the solution isn't quite that simple.
TNA would have to scrap their entire booking team and allow Paul Heyman to have full control. He also needs the power to be able to change how the entire shows are produced. Without that power, he wouldn't be nearly as effective as everyone thinks that he would be.
The problem with that, though, is that a lot of companies that are still in the early years aren't willing to make drastic changes if they're already seeing signs of improvements.
Even the most die hard TNA hater would be foolish to say that they don't see improvements in TNA. In recent weeks, the company has been breaking records with their television ratings.
TNA will ride with what brought them to the dance. |
