Andre the Giant
While many wrestling fan only remember him for his extremely quick loss to King Kong Bundy at Wrestlemania 1, SD Jones actually had a few other memorable moments in his career. MVP
In order to show support, MVP took his own time and money to travel to Ferguson to be part of the protest. While the TNA star was pleased by the show of solidarity in the community, he did note that there were a few people there who were making the situations worse. MVP was more than likely referring to the looters who were taking advantage of the situation.

The protests are said to be much more peaceful as of late.

MVP
Sometimes, you watch the news and find a cause that makes you want to stand up. The entire country is in an uproar after police officers shot and killed a teenager named Michael Brown. A big protest was started, and TNA star MVP flew into the state to take part in it. He stated that this was a last minute decision because sometimes "shaking your fist at the television is not enough."

MVP
With a lot of fans going on social media and proclaiming the death of his company, MVP has become quite vocal in defense of TNA. The former United States Heavyweight Champion has been telling people that the company will continue to churn through. He is under the belief that a new television deal will be worked out before the end of the year.

Kofi Kingston
Last month, rumors were finally squashed about WWE bringing back the Nation of Domination stable with R Truth, Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston. Speculations have started back up again now that WWE has formed an on screen alliance between Kingston and Langston. Management reportedly canceled the plans previously because they did not want to make it seem like they were copying TNA, which recently launched a stable with MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley.

Eric Young
Prior to his injury, there were plans in place to have MVP winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship from Eric Young. Since the company needed a heel champion to be the antagonist against Kurt Angle and his new on screen authority role, the belt went to Bobby Lashley instead. There are talks that TNA could try to figure out how to transfer the belt over to MVP soon.
July 5, 2014
Bobby Lashley
After being given some time off of television, where his character was serving a story line suspension, Bobby Roode made his much anticipated return to Impact Wrestling this week. The former TNA champion came back to save Eric Young, who had just lost the world title, from an attack by MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley. Roode received a warm reception from the audience.

MVP
Since MVP has a badly injured knee, TNA decided to change up the main event of Slammiversary 2014. Eric Young will still be defending the world heavyweight championship in a steel cage at the event, but he's now going to be doing so against two opponents. The winners of the respective matches between Samoa Joe, Bobby Lashley, Kenny King and Austin Aries will be challenging Young for the belt.
June 13, 2014
Chris Jericho
During a recent podcast interview with Chris Jericho, MVP revealed that he was going to try to fight through the knee injury and work Slammiversary 2014. The former United States Heavyweight Champion is scheduled to challenge Eric Young for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at the pay per view. Management is still working on a backup plan in case his knee does not hold up, however.
June 11, 2014
Bobby Roode
In the storyline, Bobby Roode is serving a suspension from Impact Wrestling because he confronted MVP, who recently turned heel. Apparently, that suspension could be ending soon, as the longtime TNA star is being advertised for Slammiversary 2014 weekend. He does not have a match, but there is a very good chance that he could be making his on screen return that evening.

Big E Langston
There were rumors a couple of weeks ago that WWE was going to bring back the Nation of Domination stable as a vehicle for Big E Langston, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and R Truth to have something to do. However, it now appears that management has opted against that. Some believe that WWE does not want to make it seem like they're copying TNA, which recently introduced a stable with MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley.

No word yet on the severity of the injury, but MVP was limping pretty badly.

Kenny King
In case you did not catch Impact Wrestling this week, Samoa Joe made his return to TNA. He received a bit of a pop as he came back to save Eric Young and Bully Ray from an attack by MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley in the final segment of the show. Upon signing with TNA, MVP specifically mentioned Samoa Joe as a performer that he wanted to work against, so that feud could be happening soon.

MVP
MVP is taking the weekend off from TNA live events, so that he can travel to England to work a big show over there for PCW. Promoters there have also booked Al Snow, Shane Helms, Low Ki and Chris Masters as well. One of the things that MVP asked for in contract negotiations with TNA is to have some freedom and flexibility to work overseas still.

MVP
For story line purposes, MVP has suspended Bobby Roode for his actions on the latest episode of Impact Wrestling, where the former world heavyweight champion confronted MVP about a title shot. Rumor has it that TNA is building up a big match between these two performers for down the line. Prior to joining the company, MVP specifically listed Bobby Roode as someone that he wanted to work with.

MVP
For those of you that do not watch Impact Wrestling on a regular basis, MVP has done a heel turn. The former United States Heavyweight Champion has also given himself a shot at Eric Young and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Slammiversary 2014 as well. Management pulled the trigger on the move, as they feel that MVP could be more valuable as an antagonist.
May 9, 2014
Gunner
Earlier this week, news came out that Kurt Angle had been added as a last minute addition to the live events that TNA is holding this upcoming weekend. Word has now come out that the former world heavyweight champion will be teaming up with MVP to take on Ethan Carter and Brutus Magnus.
