Batista
"I'm just one of those people who never really cared about being cheered or booed. If they cheered me, it motivated me. If they booed me, it motivated me more. Fans saying I don't deserve the Royal Rumble 2014 win, it's like they forgot the 10 or 12 years beforehand. I try to never be disrespectful. I left not because I wanted to leave, but because I needed to achieve some things on my own without WWE. To tell you the truth, I wished the crowd had been a little more supportive. When I come back to WWE, I'm with WWE." - Batista defending himself against fans

Vince McMahon
It appears that the WWE Network was launched at just the right time. Buyrates for Royal Rumble 2014 and Elimination Chamber 2014 suffered a considerable drop from the previous year. Vince McMahon no longer has to tout these numbers to his investors, though, because the company can state that the viewers have shifted over to the WWE Network.

Roman Reigns
While he has lost a bit of momentum since Royal Rumble 2014, there are still plans in WWE to give Roman Reigns a big push. Since the Shield pulled a face turn recently, there are talks of elevating Reigns to the point where he can be booked in a match against Triple H at Summerslam 2014. The hope there is that HHH can make him into a star by giving him a memorable match.

April 11, 2014
Andre the Giant
Despite not being utilized all that frequently on television, Justin Gabriel was given a spot in the Andre the Giant match at Wrestlemania 30. The belief is that WWE is rewarding him for not making a big fuss about being removed from Royal Rumble 2014 at the last minute. Management likes that he does as he is told backstage.
April 6, 2014
Andre the Giant
Since management has been unable to figure out a way for him to make his long awaited return, there are now rumors that Evan Bourne could be one of the guys to take the four remaining spots in the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at Wrestlemania 30. The high flying performer was initially scheduled for Royal Rumble 2014, but WWE pulled him from the big match.
March 27, 2014
Bray Wyatt
If WWE goes through with their plans of putting the heavyweight championship on Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania 30, then one of his first opponents could very well be Bray Wyatt, who is expected to receive a huge push at the pay per view over John Cena. The writers can push their match at Royal Rumble 2014 as the story behind the feud and title program.
March 23, 2014
Andre the Giant
At Royal Rumble 2014, Justin Gabriel came really close to making his pay per view return, but that spot was taken away from him at the last minute. His chances of working Wrestlemania 30 this year has increased tremendously now that he is one of the many veteran performers who are being penciled in for the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal.
March 18, 2014
Andre the Giant
The Great Khali made his return to the ring this week by working a match against CJ Parker at the WWE NXT taping. Prior to that, he had not worked a match since Royal Rumble 2014. The belief is that the former world heavyweight champion is going to be given a spot at Wrestlemania 30 in the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal.
March 16, 2014
Big Show
Some eyes backstage have been on the Great Khali, as management has not been utilizing him as much lately. He has only worked two televised matches, a win over Damien Sandow on Monday Night Raw and a brief appearance at Royal Rumble 2014. WWE also sent Big Show to India for a promotional tour instead of him recently as well.
February 22, 2014
Kevin Nash
When Kevin Nash made a surprise appearance at Royal Rumble 2014, many noted that he looked younger because he dyed his hair and beard black. Now that his brief stint with WWE is done, he has gone back to his natural gray look.
February 13, 2014
CM Punk

While we still do not have a definite answer as to how long he has been upset with the company, we do know now that CM Punk was already contemplating a departure from WWE as early as Royal Rumble 2014. He vented to Mick Foley at the time about not being happy within the company and having trouble dealing with injuries.

February 10, 2014
Alberto Del Rio
Since he has voiced his displeasure to those backstage, WWE has been attempting to appease Alberto Del Rio a bit. Since the start of 2014, the former world heavyweight champion has been given eight televised victories. His only losses came against Rey Mysterio on Smackdown and at Royal Rumble 2014.
February 7, 2014
Evan Bourne

After he was pulled from Royal Rumble 2014 at the last minute, Evan Bourne told fans on Twitter that he was still working on making his return to WWE, but as of right now, it does not appear that management is making that a priority backsage.

February 3, 2014
Big Show

Since the company wanted to sell the brutality of Brock Lesnar for his match against Big Show at Royal Rumble 2014, they had Mark Henry work an injury angle and take a couple of weeks off. It looks the former world champion is returning to WWE, possibly as soon as Monday Night Raw this week.

February 3, 2014
Daniel Bryan

After what took place at Royal Rumble 2014, WWE officials were concerned that the audience at Monday Night Raw was going to hijack the event by voicing their opinions, so in order to help squash some of that and control the crowd, management had Daniel Bryan cutting a promo to open up the show.

February 1, 2014
Daniel Bryan

Long known backstage as someone with a short fuse, Randy Orton was said to be irate with the fans at Royal Rumble 2014 because he feels that they interrupted his performance against John Cena by openly rooting for Daniel Bryan. Orton does have a history of being upset with audiences.

February 1, 2014
Alexander Rusev

When Alexander Rusev made his debut at Royal Rumble 2014, many were under the impression that it was a permanent call up to the main roster. However, it appears that management wants the developmental wrestler to have a little more seasoning by working in WWE NXT for a few more weeks.

January 31, 2014
Jey Uso

While watching Royal Rumble 2014, Rikishi expressed his frustration with WWE by posting a message on Twitter. He asked what the company was doing with his sons, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso. He also stated that the "writers suck" and ended the statement with "bullshit".

January 29, 2014
MVP
Last month, rumors were finally squashed about WWE bringing back the Nation of Domination stable with R Truth, Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston. Speculations have started back up again now that WWE has formed an on screen alliance between Kingston and Langston. Management reportedly canceled the plans previously because they did not want to make it seem like they were copying TNA, which recently launched a stable with MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley.
July 8, 2014
Eric Young
Prior to his injury, there were plans in place to have MVP winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship from Eric Young. Since the company needed a heel champion to be the antagonist against Kurt Angle and his new on screen authority role, the belt went to Bobby Lashley instead. There are talks that TNA could try to figure out how to transfer the belt over to MVP soon.
July 5, 2014
Eric Young
After being given some time off of television, where his character was serving a story line suspension, Bobby Roode made his much anticipated return to Impact Wrestling this week. The former TNA champion came back to save Eric Young, who had just lost the world title, from an attack by MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley. Roode received a warm reception from the audience.
June 19, 2014
Samoa Joe
Since MVP has a badly injured knee, TNA decided to change up the main event of Slammiversary 2014. Eric Young will still be defending the world heavyweight championship in a steel cage at the event, but he's now going to be doing so against two opponents. The winners of the respective matches between Samoa Joe, Bobby Lashley, Kenny King and Austin Aries will be challenging Young for the belt.
June 13, 2014
Eric Young
During a recent podcast interview with Chris Jericho, MVP revealed that he was going to try to fight through the knee injury and work Slammiversary 2014. The former United States Heavyweight Champion is scheduled to challenge Eric Young for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at the pay per view. Management is still working on a backup plan in case his knee does not hold up, however.
June 11, 2014
MVP
In the storyline, Bobby Roode is serving a suspension from Impact Wrestling because he confronted MVP, who recently turned heel. Apparently, that suspension could be ending soon, as the longtime TNA star is being advertised for Slammiversary 2014 weekend. He does not have a match, but there is a very good chance that he could be making his on screen return that evening.
June 3, 2014
Xavier Woods
There were rumors a couple of weeks ago that WWE was going to bring back the Nation of Domination stable as a vehicle for Big E Langston, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and R Truth to have something to do. However, it now appears that management has opted against that. Some believe that WWE does not want to make it seem like they're copying TNA, which recently introduced a stable with MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley.

Chris Masters

June 2, 2014
MVP
While he is currently one of the top stars in the company, don't expect MVP to remain with TNA for the rest of his career. During a recent interview with the Mirror, the former United States Heavyweight Champion confirmed that he wants his wrestling career to end overseas. MVP wants another big run in Japan before he retires from the business.
June 1, 2014
MVP
Slammiversary 2014 takes place later on this month, and the main event might be in jeopardy. Originally, Eric Young was scheduled to defend the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against MVP, but the challenger suffered some sort of knee injury while working an independent wrestling show in England over the weekend. No word yet on the severity of the injury, but MVP was limping pretty badly.
June 1, 2014
Samoa Joe
In case you did not catch Impact Wrestling this week, Samoa Joe made his return to TNA. He received a bit of a pop as he came back to save Eric Young and Bully Ray from an attack by MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley in the final segment of the show. Upon signing with TNA, MVP specifically mentioned Samoa Joe as a performer that he wanted to work against, so that feud could be happening soon.
May 30, 2014
Chris Masters
MVP is taking the weekend off from TNA live events, so that he can travel to England to work a big show over there for PCW. Promoters there have also booked Al Snow, Shane Helms, Low Ki and Chris Masters as well. One of the things that MVP asked for in contract negotiations with TNA is to have some freedom and flexibility to work overseas still.
May 30, 2014
Bobby Roode
For story line purposes, MVP has suspended Bobby Roode for his actions on the latest episode of Impact Wrestling, where the former world heavyweight champion confronted MVP about a title shot. Rumor has it that TNA is building up a big match between these two performers for down the line. Prior to joining the company, MVP specifically listed Bobby Roode as someone that he wanted to work with.
May 14, 2014
MVP
For those of you that do not watch Impact Wrestling on a regular basis, MVP has done a heel turn. The former United States Heavyweight Champion has also given himself a shot at Eric Young and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Slammiversary 2014 as well. Management pulled the trigger on the move, as they feel that MVP could be more valuable as an antagonist.
May 9, 2014
Kurt Angle
Earlier this week, news came out that Kurt Angle had been added as a last minute addition to the live events that TNA is holding this upcoming weekend. Word has now come out that the former world heavyweight champion will be teaming up with MVP to take on Ethan Carter and Brutus Magnus. Angle is replacing James Storm and Gunner, who are doing a show in England.
May 2, 2014
Jessie Godderz
While the majority of the pay per view has already been announced, there are rumors backstage that an eight match could be added. Davey Richards and Eddie Edward are expected to be given a spot on the show, and their opponents could be Zema Ion, Robbie E and Jessie Godderz. There are also talks that MVP could be added if TNA doesn't want to do a handicap tag team match.

MVP

April 20, 2014
Triple H
For the longest time there, MVP was the longest reigning WWE United States Heavyweight Champion, but that mark looks to be broken soon if Dean Ambrose can hold on to the belt a little while longer. The Shield member rarely defends the belt, but WWE could opt to include it in the story line against Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista.
