MVP starting band

A lot of professional wrestlers try their hands at acting at some point in their careers. MVP does not want to follow those footsteps. Instead, he wants to be more like Chris Jericho. The former WWE United States Heavyweight Champion stated that he is inspired by Jericho and wants to start his own hardcore band before he is too old to do so. Montel Vontavious Porter wants to be known as the "black Henry Rollins".

While doing a podcast interview, MVP revealed a very telling backstage story about Batista. The former United States Heavyweight Champion stated that the Guardians of the Galaxy star once went to Vince McMahon to get him to change the outcome of a match because Batista did not want to see MVP losing a third consecutive match to him and losing whatever momentum that he had with the audience.

Homicide revealed a very interesting thing during a recent interview. Had it worked out, it might have been one of the most hyped wrestling things outside of WWE. He stated that he, Samoa Joe, MVP and Low Ki were hoping to make the Beat Down Crew popular enough to convince New Japan to bring them in for a program with the Bullet Club. Unfortunately, though, things did not work out as planned.

Since he has been working in GFW in a tag team with Joey Ryan, there has been some speculation about Kenny King and his current status with TNA. Some are under the belief that he is leaving the promotion completely, especially since guys like MVP have taken off. That does not appear to be the case. King still intends on working for Total Nonstop Action for the time being.

During a recent interview, Matt Hardy revealed that there were plans in TNA for he and MVP to work a program together. The two of them had a very extensive and very entertaining feud in WWE, so the smart move would have been to capitalize on that. Hardy revealed that he was supposed to have an alliance with his former on screen foe, but for whatever reasons, things just didn't work out.

While the initial belief was that he left the company on his own accord, which was something that he had been contemplating, reports have now surfaced that he was actually fired over the Hernandez situation. Management blames him for how everything went down with that fiasco.
