Charlotte on Monday Night Raw

Unless things become chaotic backstage, it appears that Charlotte is more than likely going to make her main roster debut on the episode of Monday Night Raw on the night following Wrestlemania. Ric Flair is supposed to be in attendance during the entire weekend, so that would make it quite convenient for the front office to have him appearing on television to introduce his daughter to fans who do not generally keep up with NXT.

Brad Maddox return

At a live event in Milwaukee over the weekend, Brad Maddox made his return to WWE. Often times, management likes to test things out at these events to gauge what the audience reaction would be before doing it on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown. Based on the lackluster reaction and the poor quality of the match, the front office has much to work on before doing the Maddox return on television.

Sheamus return

While his vignettes have been playing on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown for what seems like an eternity now, WWE has no plans on bringing Sheamus back to television just yet. The idea being penciled in at the moment is to have him make his comeback at Wrestlemania itself. Management is still trying to decide which match he will be involved in. The two choices are the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal and the ladder match.

AJ Lee returning

Monday Night Raw is being held in New Jersey tonight, and a very familiar face is backstage at the moment. AJ Lee is scheduled to make her return to WWE this week. The belief is that she will end up teaming up with Paige at Wrestlemania to take on Nikki Bella and Brie Bella. Unless plans are changed during the day, the program should be started on television tonight. AJ recently made headlines by bashing Stephanie McMahon and the company.

Darren Young push

If you watched Monday Night Raw this week, you would already know that Darren Young reformed his Prime Time Player team with Titus O'Neil. It is being said that WWE is giving him a push because they want to show the outside world that they are supportive of gays and lesbians. Young had already been working live events for the last two months, but they never used him on television until he publicly criticized the company last week.

Hornswoggle backstage

While he has not been used very frequently on television, Hornswoggle is usually backstage whenever WWE films Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. Many were under the impression that he had been sent home because he no longer was being utilized with the Miz and Damien Sandow, a gimmick that was viewed as being hilarious by many backstage. The Wisconsin native still works plenty of live events for the company.

AJ Lee at Raw

While many are under the assumption that her days with the company are over and that she is going to be spending the rest of her time with CM Punk as he prepares for a career in UFC, AJ Lee decided to throw a wrench into that thinking last night. The longtime WWE diva was in attendance at Monday Night Raw. She was backstage with her wrestling gear and ready to go, but management opted against using her on television.

Roman Reigns written off

After watching Monday Night Raw, there are many fans out there that have been wondering if Roman Reigns had been written off of television again. They did an injury angle on the show, where Big Show pinned Reigns underneath the commentating table. Much of the concerns stem from the fact that Reigns had recently been on the sidelines for an injury, while others were worried because Reigns had missed the table landing and ended up on the chairs.

WWE loses Mexico

In a very depressing bit of news, WWE is losing a lot of their market share in Mexico now. Monday Night Raw is no longer being aired on free television in the country. It is still available for those who pay for premium channels, but that is a severe drop in viewership. Smackdown has already been removed from the country. Vince McMahon has been desperately trying to resolve things down there because he views it as a major market and asset.

Shawn Michaels returning

As many of you already know, Shawn Michaels is making a return to Monday Night Raw during the month of January to help promote the Royal Rumble. However, there are many who believe that he will be making more WWE appearances during the spring as well, as the former world heavyweight champion is about to embark on a worldwide book signing tour. Making an appearance on television would go a long way toward helping book sales.
