Mojo Rawley
WWE loved touting that there were some very familiar faces in the audience at the big WWE NXT show this past week. One of those was Rob Gronkowski, the superstar tight end for the New England Patriots. The NFL player was there because of his friendship with Mojo Rawley, the developmental wrestler that used to play football.

CJ Parker
When WWE announced the arrival of the Slam City cartoon series earlier this week, only guys from the main rosters were included as characters. A fan decided to go the extra step by drawing Sasha Banks, Camacho, Mojo Rawley and CJ Parker as characters for the show. Management has no intentions of including WWE NXT stars as of this moment, though.

Mojo Rawley
While the company recently informed the developmental wrestlers that it will be harder to get called up to the main roster, that change does not appear to be affecting Mojo Rawley and WWE's desire to fast track him to Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. The belief is that he is the WWE NXT star that will some day be the headliner for the entire company.

Mojo Rawley
One of the reasons why WWE is putting a lot of faith and expectation in Mojo Rawley is because he is a former NFL player. He had brief stints with the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals, but a severe injury derailed him. Management feels that his professional sports background gives him a little more credibility than the other developmental wrestlers.

Hulk Hogan
As a few people are already aware, Hulk Hogan has been generating some hype recently by teasing fans that he wants to make a return to the WWE ring for one final match. The former world heavyweight champion has teased that he wants to work against John Cena. Well, some fuel has been added to that fire, as Cena himself is now starting to tease the match as well. Not a whole lot of fans are aware of this, but Naomi Knight has been missing in action for WWE for a couple of weeks now. Bully Ray
Reports surfaced not too long ago that Bully Ray was leaving TNA, as his contract was set to expire and a new deal could not be reached between the two sides. Apparently, he is going to remain on good terms with management, as the former world heavyweight champion is still being advertised for Bound For Glory 2014. Team 3D is scheduled to be inducted into the hall of fame that evening, but it would not come as a shock if Bully ended up working a match on the pay per view.

Batista
We have ourselves another sign that Batista might be putting WWE in his rear view mirror. During a podcast interview with Chris Jericho, the former world heavyweight champion openly bashed the method in which the company handled his return. Batista stated that he wished management would have given him the spotlight alone during his first night back. He also stated that WWE made a mistake by bringing him in as a baby face.

Jake Roberts
In a sign of just how popular and mainstream Jake Roberts was during the 1980s, several media outlets provided coverage of the WWE legend being sent to the hospital this week. TMZ does a good job of covering wrestling, so they were on the ball with the Roberts story. Huffington Post and USA Today, which does not feature much about the industry, even covered the story.

Steve Austin
There's been another casualty in WWE, thanks to the company losing millions of dollars this year. Tough Enough has been taken off of life support and has now been officially scrapped. Management was hoping to do another season of the show, and they were still trying to get Steve Austin to jump back on board. However, after severely reducing the available budget for Tough Enough, officials decided that it would not work out with the limited amount of funding.

Daniel Bryan
It looks like Daniel Bryan will not be joining WWE in Europe after all. The company has decided to pull advertisement featuring the former world heavyweight champion from upcoming live events in Europe. Initially, management wanted him to make appearances on those shows in order to draw in more of an audience. However, they have changed their minds and are allowing Bryan to remain at home and focus on recover.

Ryback
When word broke that Ryback was injured, there were some reports of skepticism from WWE officials that there really was no injury. However, the legitimacy of his health has been proven, as Ryback has posted a video of himself in the hospital. He clearly did go under the knife. It is being said that Ryback has worked with strained groins and hernias for the last year.
August 28, 2014
Mick Foley
Considering the amount of pain that he withstood for the sake of entertaining fans over the years, it is a bit surprising that Mick Foley did not spend more time on the sidelines. He has retired from WWE now, but an injury is preventing him from working. Back issues have prompted the former world heavyweight champion to cancel an upcoming appearance in Denver. No word yet on whether or not it will be rescheduled.
August 27, 2014
Batista
The value of the WWE audience has taken yet another hit. There is already a good amount of advertisers who are avoiding the company because they do not feel that the demographics is desirable. Reports are now surfacing that Marvel purposely declined to advertise their Guardians of the Galaxy movie to the WWE audience, even though Batista could have drawn in some of the fans to the film. Since the studio was not interested, WWE opted to avoid promoting the movie, even though it could have benefited them internally.

Ryback
There was a little bit of a buzz earlier in the week when Ryback posted a message about taking time off from WWE. It has now been confirmed that he suffered some sort of injury and will be needing a few weeks off of the road to recover.
August 27, 2014
Daniel Bryan
With so much speculation in the air on his condition, it looks like Daniel Bryan will be making a return to WWE in November. Unfortunately, though, he will not be wrestling when he does come back. Management has advertised Bryan to be at the live events that the company is hosting in Europe later on this year. The feeling is that WWE needs all the star power that they can get to draw in the audience.

Steve Austin
Life after professional wrestling continues to be great for Steve Austin. He recently revealed that the studios have renewed Redneck Island for a fourth season and have decided to give the Broken Skull Challenge a second one. These deals give him a bit of leverage in negotiations with WWE, who still want him to return for another season of Tough Enough.
August 26, 2014
Paul Heyman
For those that do not keep up with him outside of WWE, Paul Heyman actually has a ton of things going on in his professional life. In fact, things have picked up so much that he has now moved to Los Angeles to be closer to his business ventures. It has now been revealed that he is renting a house out there. Heyman should still be able to continue working with WWE.

Jeff Jarrett
Pretty soon, Antarctica might become the only continent where Jeff Jarrett does not have a business deal for Global Force Wrestling. It has now been revealed that he has secured deals in Australia and New Zealand. Jarrett has signed contracts with promotions in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Auckland. The belief is that the former world heavyweight champion is not done securing deals yet.
August 26, 2014
Jeff Jarrett
In the upcoming weeks, Jeff Jarrett will be adding a lot of miles to his frequent flyer card. He will embark on various trips to Los Angeles, New York City and Dallas, in an attempt to find a filming location for Global Force Wrestling. There is also a chance that he may look in other cities if he is unable to find a suitable spot in the three big cities, but the belief is that he is leaning towards those markets because it will be a bit easier to fill the arenas.
