He is still recovering from a recent back surgery that was required because of a fall caused by his weakened knees. The former world heavyweight champion is said to be in good spirits, however. Sammartino is reportedly walking several miles a week, even though his legs are not completely healed, to keep up with his health.

Critics were already complaining that CM Punk was taking too long to make his debut in UFC. Those complaints are about to be even louder, as the former world heavyweight champion has now suffered some sort of shoulder injury while doing MMA training. That means that his debut match will have to be postponed for a couple of months. Punk does not want to step into the ring until he feels that he is truly ready to compete.
