Cyrus Fees will be joining Chael Sonnen. His background as an announcer is in MMA, so it will be quite interesting to see how he does in professional wrestling.

When asked for his opinions by the Sporting News, Frank Mir did not hesitate to say that he was disappointed that Brock Lesnar chose to stay with WWE instead of going back to UFC. The former world heavyweight champion felt that a rematch between the two would draw huge money for the promotion. Mir firmly states that he believes that Lesnar is quite the marketing asset for MMA.

He stated that it cheapened the sport because the company is going to hand pick opponents for Punk. Lisa was so good at her job that she was recently promoted to executive vice president and placed under the command of Vince McMahon. That change did not work out too well because the company has now decided to fire her.

During a recent interview, Bobby Lashley stated that a lot of professional wrestling fans are going to be mad when CM Punk makes his UFC debut and actually wins the fight. A lot of WWE fans are still upset with Punk for leaving, so they are being petty by rooting against him doing well in MMA. Lashley is well aware of this, so he is not afraid to speak out.

He stated that if Bellator wanted him to do a match with his teammate Kimbo Slice, then he would more than gladly sign on the dotted line. In some sad news, Tommy Rogers has passed away. He was found in front of his computer in the middle of the night by his roommate. The initial belief is that the former NWA star might have committed suicide, as he was facing a prison stint after getting involved in a fight with a police officer. Reports have surfaced that there was no suicide note left behind. Rogers teamed with Bobby Fulton as the Fantastics, a very underrated tag team during the 1980s.

Back when he was a free agent, Alberto Del Rio was fielding offers from several companies. One of those companies was UFC. The promotion really wanted the former world heavyweight champion to come in and do a couple of fights. However, Del Rio was forced to reject their offer because the two sides could not come to terms on money. He stated that he was doing so well in professional wrestling that it would be a pay cut to jump to MMA.
