Nikki Bella

Seth Rollins breaks record

While it is not getting anywhere near the coverage that the record broken by Nikki Bella recently did, Seth Rollins has placed his name into the WWE record books. Having held the world heavyweight champion for 184 days, he is now the longest reigning titleholder that is also a Money in the Bank winner. Miz held the belt for 160 days, while Kane was champion for 154 days.

Flair chooses new Horsemen

During his latest podcast interview show, Ric Flair was asked to choose four members of the current WWE roster if the Four Horsemen were to be reborn. His first choice was Dolph Ziggler, whom he says is a great worker. Seth Rollins was his next choice. Flair also chose The Miz because he generates good heel heat. His last choice was Antonio Cesaro, who already has the look of a Horsemen.

Stephen Amell

Barrett replaces Miz

Originally, the plan by WWE was to have Miz team up with Stardust to take on Stephen Amell and Adrian Neville. However, management had to change up those plans when Ryback was injured and the feud including Big Show was stalled. A replacement was needed, so they decided on Wade Barrett, who really did not have an important program to work, despite being King of the Ring.

Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan on Raw

When word broke out earlier in the day that Daniel Bryan was going to be showing up on Monday Night Raw, there was a lot of speculations from the internet wrestling community that he was going to be announcing his retirement. That is not the case. Instead, the former world heavyweight champion is being allowed by WWE to promote his book as a guest on the Miz talk show.

Big Show turning face

In a rather odd move, Big Show acted very much like a baby face at a live event in Vancouver over the weekend. It makes sense for him to do that against Miz, as they are working a three way feud with Ryback. However, Show went the distance by helping Jimmy Uso to the backstage area. Generally, a heel would just leave the attacked baby face in the ring.

Ryback being stripped

There are those that believe that Ryback might not be healing as quick as expected, so there might be a chance that WWE strips him of the Intercontinental Championship. That would explain why Miz has been doing an angle where he is claiming to be speaking to his lawyers about making the title vacant. The Big Guy could always win the title back when he makes his return.

Shawn Michaels

HBK replaces Hogan

As many of you already know, Miz was pegged as a replacement for Hulk Hogan on Tough Enough. Now, word has come out that Shawn Michaels has signed on to become the special guest general manager when WWE does a couple of live events in Australia next month. There were rumors that Ric Flair was in line for both gigs, but he could not come to an agreement with the front office.

Miz on Tough Enough

When Hulk Hogan was forced to vacate his position as a judge on Tough Enough, fans excitedly speculated on which legend was going to be replacing him. Ric Flair and Bret Hart were the two names that were mentioned the most. However, WWE opted to go in a different direction by simply using Miz in the role. He is a great talker, so he should be able to handle the job just fine.

Sting and Stephen Amell

There is an interesting rumor floating around right now that WWE is considering the possibility of having Sting and Stephen Amell, both of whom portray vigilante characters on television, teaming up to take on Stardust and Miz, who portrays a cocky Hollywood actor character at Summerslam. That would generate quite the mainstream media attention for the company.

Big Show

Big Show too old

A couple of weeks ago, Miz mentioned that Big Show was well past his prime. Rumors have it that this was not just a one time thing. WWE could be using this as a story line for the former world heavyweight champion throughout the rest of the year. Show would face a slew of younger opponents to try to show the world that he can still be a star in professional wrestling today.
