When WWE did a story line where Brad Maddox was fired from Monday Night Raw, many were under the impression that management had a plan in place to turn him into an in ring performer, something that he has been wanting to be for quite some time now. However, it appears that WWE does not have plans in place for Maddox to make his return any time soon.

Vince McMahon
It is being said backstage that Vince McMahon is highly upset with the situation going on with WWE and its plummeting stocks. Many are surprised that he has not fired several members of upper management yet. The belief is that WWE does not want to cause even more concerns with their remaining investors by making drastic changes at a rapid rate.

Batista
It looks like the incident in Winnipeg involving Batista and a radio DJ was not staged after all. Cam Carson has been fired by Power 97, who sponsored the live event. He was heavily intoxicated and was legitimately thrown out by WWE security for getting into an argument with Batista. A woman is also claiming that her 11 year old son was injured by the DJ that night.

CM Punk
The feeling within WWE is that a lot of performers backstage are afraid to speak up to management. Guys like CM Punk are rare, in that they do not care if they're fired and because they have job security. Other wrestlers, though, know that there are not a lot of options available for employment, so they keep their feelings to themselves.

Jake Roberts

"My guys showed me Warrior's tweets. I was trying to be entertaining with the radio show and took things too far, like I do too often. I have no business inferring anything negative about him. I apologize. He deserves the HOF and respect for what he accomplished in the business. But let me be clear. There is no hypocrisy here. I am not preaching anything. I am sharing my recovery path to show others what is possible. So no pity, bathrooms stalls or groveling. I am doing great. I am an addict and alcoholic working every single day to repair and make the best out of the life I have left. I make mistakes, like that comment, but my recovery has been amazing. Jim does not know this Jake. Without realizing or intending to, I fired the first shot and will take Jim's response without any negativity towards him. I apologize and am putting behind me."

Arn Anderson
"Dolph Ziggler has got to be one of the toughest men to put on a pair of boots, but he's going to be like Mick Foley in another five years because that kid beats his body up more than anybody on the crew. I do know this, in my dealings with him, when I'm his producer, he gives everything he's got. He does some really phenomenal and athletic stuff." - Arn Anderson thinks WWE should push Ziggler

He also feels that not enough people are happy for Batista being featured in a big movie this summer.

Another source of discontent for WWE performers lately is the amount of the royalty checks that are being handed out. Wrestlers who used to receive $70,000 quarterly checks for the video game are now reportedly receiving closer to $10,000. There has been some proof of that, as Mick Foley was quite vocal towards WWE about the decrease in royalties earlier in the year. A lot of the top level performers received approximately $1,500 on their second quarterly royalty check, which surprised a lot of people backstage.

Hulk Hogan
"Yes, I like Hulk Hogan - and here's why. With each passing year, I think I gain a better perspective on what's really important in life. There was a time - a period of many years - where Hulk's name would bring up some negative feelings for me. He was the guy who made far more than I did with a style that was the antithesis of mine. But for the past several years, whenever I see Hulk Hogan, all I can think of are the words Shane Douglas shared with me about Hulk Hogan and the kindness and warmth with which he showered the kids facing life-threatening challenges, who seemed to find strength and inspiration in Hulk's larger than life physique and personality. I'll never forget those words Shane told me, 'Those kids would just be beaming.' Those words are all I think of when I see Hogan, People can take issue with his wrestling style...as they often do with mine. But, when it's all said and done, Hulk Hogan used that oversized personality, and really big heart to ease so much suffering that he saw around him.. In the bigger picture, does anything else really matter?" - Mick Foley shares his feelings on Hulk Hogan

Brie Bella
Those that have been following Mick Foley closely over the last year are aware that there is some sort of backstage heat between he and Vince McMahon. WWE has given him the cold shoulders on a couple of occasions. Foley has now revealed a possible source of that friction. He accidentally sent a message to McMahon while trying to send to Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan. Luke Harper
"I wasn't sold on him. I wasn't sold on the idea that they kept comparing him to Bruiser Brody, because Brody for the longtime wrestling fan was one of the great wrestlers of his era or of all time. But he was known as the intelligent monster and Harper was an out of control maniac. I think once you stop trying to imitate somebody and find your own way things really start clicking. So, I've been watching him and things have really been clicking and after the Wyatts have this amazing run, hopefully as long as possible, yeah, I do think he has what it takes to become a singles star." - Mick Foley shares his views on Luke Harper and his potential to become a star in WWE
June 15, 2014
Luke Harper
"If Luke Harper were a stock, I'd be buying him now. I've watched carefully for a while, and in the past two months, I've finally become sold on the big man, not only as an invaluable part of the bizarre The Wyatt Family, but as a potential breakout star on his own. Finding your way, and blazing your own unique path is no easy task in WWE, especially when standing in the very long shadow of Bray Wyatt. But Harper has found that way. I wasn't ready to buy into the Bruiser Brody comparison, no matter how many times it was brought up. Brody, a legend in the business, and a huge inspiration on my own career, was known as "the intelligent monster." Harper has excelled in my mind, by stepping off that path that Brody blazed, and finding his own, unique way to excel in WWE - as the guy who can do anything at any time, without any seeming rhyme or reason. The hurricanrana followed by a dropkick makes perfect sense, because it makes absolutely no sense. Here's one wrestling fan looking forward to Luke Harper's matches making little sense, but a huge impact on WWE Monday Night Raw for a long time to come." - Mick Foley praises Luke Harper

Dolph Ziggler
"The purpose of my post. I'm not to suggest that Dolph Ziggler join Global Force Wrestling, just using him as an example of how subjective WWE decisions can be. I do agree that Dolph Ziggler is a terrible ring name. A couple of years ago, I sent a very detailed e-mail to the powers that be with a suggestion of how he could get out of the name and simultaneously garner some mainstream media attention, but never heard back from those in charge." - Mick Foley explaining his post about Dolph Ziggler on Twitter

Stephanie McMahon
With WWE stock taking a major tumble recently, Mick Foley had an interesting theory as to the reason why. The former world heavyweight champion pointed the finger at Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, stating that some people might not be able to differentiate their on screen characters with their real life personas. Foley feels that HHH and Stephanie do such a good job at portraying heels.

Mick Foley
"Honestly, I'm probably not going to sign my Legends deal with WWE because I don't think they did the right thing by the guys with the video game. The check was a little low. Last year, there was a bankruptcy, but this year there wasn't. So, I don't see the upside to signing the Legends deal when the carrot isn't there dangling. So, I'm not going to sign my Legends deal." - Mick Foley reveals why he is not signing a new contract with WWE
