Kenny Omega is the talk of professional wrestling after putting on a classic main event match at Wrestle Kingdom 11 with Kazuchika Okada earlier this week. He has been universally praised by his peers in the industry and by fans all over the globe. His stock is as high as it has ever been. Omega has caught the attention of Mick Foley. The Hardcore Legend took to Facebook to give his reaction after watching the five star match. Foley stated that Omega might be the closest combination of sports entertainer and wrestler today. Foley also compared the match between Omega and Okada to the classics between Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat.

The match between Omega and Okada has already caught the attention of high ranking officials in WWE. Reports have surfaced that the front office is now inspired to put on a classic main event match at Wrestlemania 33 to rival the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 11. That might change up some of the plans, as World Wrestling Entertainment will need to find their two best performers to try to accomplish the feat.

Two of the top candidates to help put on a Match of the Year candidate are Triple H and Seth Rollins. They are currently penciled in for a match against one another at Wrestlemania. Both are extremely good performers, with Triple H being a world class star whenever he is motivated to make a point. Though he is no longer a full time guy, something like this would inspire the former world heavyweight champion to take it up another notch.

Of course, there is also the chance that Omega himself might be on the WWE roster by the time that Wrestlemania rolls around. His current status with New Japan is up in the air, with many believing that he is ready to return to the United States.
