Big E Langston
There are those backstage in WWE that are skeptical of the idea of doing a heel turn for Kofi Kingston, who has long been regarded as the ultimate baby face. Since he does a lot of the charity work for the company, some are afraid that it will affect that aspect of his job as well. There are rumors floating around that WWE does not have finalized plans for the new stable that also consists of Xavier Woods and Big E Langston.

Josh Mathews
Yesterday, Josh Mathews received his release from WWE, losing his dream job because the company needed to save money. The announcer decided that he was not going to just sit around and mope. Brodus Clay
"I hired Brodus Clay into the WWE, he is phenomenal. I remember I met him at a bar where he was a bouncer. There was a fight and I helped him out in the fight. That's how we met. He wanted to be a wrestler I told him to go to wrestling school. There's life after WWE... you're not going to have a job forever. It's the nature of the beast. Some guys have a long run, and yes they could have gotten a lot more out of them, but it's based on someone else's opinion." - Tommy Dreamer explaining how he met Brodus Clay

Triple H
"In some ways, I've been doing it behind the scenes for years. Vince McMahon used to say to me, 'When are you going to stop playing around and come do some real work?' Once I had kids and was looking to be home more and getting a little older, I saw it was time to make that transition. Vince sort of baited me in, saying, 'Why don't you come in to the office once or twice a week on your off days?' And the next thing I know it's, 'I need you to take over this department and come off the road full time.' Vince likes to call me to wrestle in case of emergency. I'm a character they can pull in here and there. But honestly, the less I do it at this point, the better. Even wrestling once or twice a year is hard, and I have to prepare for it as if I'm Floyd Mayweather preparing for a boxing match. It's a commitment, and trying to do that with a full-time job and a wife and kids is very time-consuming." - Triple H discusses his new role in WWE

Brutus Magnus
"Why do internet fans and gossip writers always have to find an ulterior motive for decisions? It baffles and frankly irritates the hell out of me that these people always have to assume the worst, and report it as fact. More needs to be done in both companies to combat internal sources talking to these parasites. I was asked by a promoter recently if I lost the title because there was heat between me and John Gaburick, our Executive VP of Talent and Creative. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, 'Big' and I are able to freely express ourselves to one another, which means we get to speaks our minds properly, and we've had that relationship since he first arrived in TNA. "Furthermore, how ridiculous is that notion? Do you think if there was heat, that he would have put the title on me in the first place. On average, numbers went across the board while I had the strap. The job of the heel champion is to get the babyfaces over, and leave the place in a better state than he found it. Mission accomplished. "I can't wait to sink my teeth into my next chapter." - Brutus Magnus addressing rumors that he has backstage heat in TNA

Chris Jericho
"I only treat people the way that they treat me and I only met Warrior once and he was really gracious and really cool to me back in 1998 in WCW. He was there to do something with Hulk Hogan and I remember I went up to say hi to him and he went, 'Hey, Chris Jericho, I know you, you're doing a great job you're doing some good work.' I was a nobody at the time and I remember thinking, 'Wow, the Warrior likes me that totally smokes.' It made me feel that I must be doing something right and it gave me a little bit of a boost and I always remembered that." - Chris Jericho meets Ultimate Warrior backstage

Michael Cole
One of the biggest advertisers at Payback 2014 was Mountain Dew, and WWE made sure to let their fans know about it by having JBL, Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole promoting the soft drink throughout the evening. Fans in attendance at the pay per view, however, noted that Lawler was actually drinking Diet Coke whenever the cameras were not turned on to him. The commentator kept it hidden for much of the broadcast.

Batista

Tony Schiavone
Since he recently was spotted at WWE headquarters, there are now speculations that Tony Schiavone could be signed to a commentating contract with the company.
