To add further fuel to the fire that he might no longer be with WWE soon, the trademark for Hornswoggle has been allowed to lapse. That will definitely cause people to think that management is purposely getting rid of things associated with the recently suspended performer. This could just be something as simple as management not wanting to produce any more merchandise for him.

In order to help Jim Neidhart make more money, an independent manufacturing company decided to produce some merchandise for the former tag team champion. That did not sit well with WWE, who sent them a cease and desist letter. The company claims that Neidhart is under an exclusive merchandise deal with them, even though they do not create any products specifically for him to profit off.

It appears that Heath Slater is frustrated with how he is being used by WWE again. Through social media, a fan asked him where they could get his merchandise. Slater responded that they would normally be able to purchase them through the official website of the company, but management does not have time for him. The former 3MB member has not been used on Monday Night Raw in quite some time.

Merchandise sales have long played a part in WWE deciding who to push. That bodes well for Paige, as it has now been revealed she sells more action figures than the other divas. Since kids are easier to influence, it should come as no surprise as baby face divas sell more products than their heel counterparts. Being on Total Divas also helps the female performers move merchandise as well.

In an update on the potential return to WWE by Rey Mysterio, it is being said that he will only consider the possibility if things are on his terms. For starters, he is not entertaining the idea of being on that hectic road schedule full time. He wants a part time deal like a couple of the big name guys have been given. Mysterio would also want a good percentage of the merchandise sales.

Whenever she makes an appearance in NXT, the fans go absolutely nuts over Blue Pants. Rumor has it, though, that she is not nearly as popular backstage with the developmental wrestlers. There is resentment towards her because she is not officially under contract to WWE. That means that she does not have to give up a cut of her merchandise sales, and she does not have to go through the daily training.

WWE made the decision to send Daniel Bryan to the Comic Con event in Chicago this week, and they might be regretting that now. The former world heavyweight champion was asked about merchandise. Bryan stated that he has been poor before, so he has no qualms with fans making their own shirts instead of buying official gear. He actually encouraged people to do so. Management might not like those comments much.

While he is not officially under contract as a performer, the former world heavyweight champion is not legally allowed to work for TNA or ROH because he has a merchandise deal. RVD states that he intends to make another return some day, but he is in no rush to do so at the moment.

This comes on the heel of the company losing at least $50 million in stock because of his departure. Apparently, things have gone downhill quite a bit for Nicole Bass since she last worked for WWE. She was arrested on Tuesday for shoplifting more than $1000 of merchandise from a store in Queens. While the items stolen have not been revealed at this moment, reports are saying that there was 160 items that was found in her purse.
