WWE legends contracts coming

This week, WWE was able to finalize legends contracts with Boogeyman, Superstar Billy Graham and Tatanka. They will not be the last announcements. Management is said to be working out quite a bit more of deals. The company likes these deals because they are not overly expensive, and it gives them access to more performers for public appearances. Plus, merchandise can be made.

WWE signs Boogeyman

On Friday, Boogeyman told fans through social media that he had signed a legends contract with WWE. The company decided to confirm that today by releasing an official statement. Management believes that his character is still intriguing enough to fans, so he will more than likely be used a bit more frequently at fan access events. Some new merchandise is a possibility as well.

Rey Mysterio

Mysterio and Guerrero clothing brand

Apparently, Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero are now doing business together, and it is outside of the professional wrestling industry. The former on screen rivals are teaming up to launch a new clothing line. A lot of the merchandise has already been designed and manufactured. Guerrero was seen doing a photo shoot with some of the gear on. Mysterio will probably be doing the same as well.

Road Warriors dummy

Back when the Road Warriors first joined WWE, management did the unusual thing by having one of the toughest tag teams of all time bringing a ventriloquist dummy with them to the ring. Animal explains that the reason why the front office did that is because they were selling so much merchandise. Management wanted to give them a softer side to cater to the younger fan base.

Dwayne Johnson and Under Armour

Yet another big endorsement deal has been signed by Dwayne Johnson, who recently made a deal with Ford to start promoting their line of vehicles. The former world heavyweight champion has revealed that he has signed a business partnership with Under Armour. Johnson will be promoting their line of athletic gear. There are talks that he might even be allowed to designed some new merchandise for the company.

Bayley to WWE

One of the biggest priorities in NXT right now is finding a female performer that they can build the division around so that Bayley can finally be elevated to the main roster in WWE. Management really feels that she is a potential asset to their merchandise department. Her popularity is expected to explode once she gets featured on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. That cannot happen until a replacement is found, however.

Since she is no longer stuck doing the hectic WWE schedule, AJ Lee is finding time to focus on her other passions in life. The former Divas Champion has announced that she is launching a charitable clothing line to benefit PAWS, an organization in Chicago that helps homeless animals. AJ reached out to Beautiful Disaster Clothing to help design and produce the merchandise. They are now available for purchase online.

To add further fuel to the fire that he might no longer be with WWE soon, the trademark for Hornswoggle has been allowed to lapse. That will definitely cause people to think that management is purposely getting rid of things associated with the recently suspended performer. This could just be something as simple as management not wanting to produce any more merchandise for him.

WWE bans Neidhart merchandise

In order to help Jim Neidhart make more money, an independent manufacturing company decided to produce some merchandise for the former tag team champion. That did not sit well with WWE, who sent them a cease and desist letter. The company claims that Neidhart is under an exclusive merchandise deal with them, even though they do not create any products specifically for him to profit off.

Heath Slater frustrated again

It appears that Heath Slater is frustrated with how he is being used by WWE again. Through social media, a fan asked him where they could get his merchandise. Slater responded that they would normally be able to purchase them through the official website of the company, but management does not have time for him. The former 3MB member has not been used on Monday Night Raw in quite some time.
