At the Lucha Libre World Cup, TNA and Lucha Underground formed a partnership. John Morrison teamed up with Mr Anderson and Matt Hardy, all of whom were former WWE stars, during the trios tournament. Initially, the belief was that Anderson and Hardy would be teaming up with Drew Galloway since they all worked for the same company, but Galloway ended up being on the international team with El Mesias and Angelico instead.

When the announcement was made that Matt Hardy would be representing TNA on a three man team during the Lucha Libre World Cup, many began to wonder who else Dixie Carter would be sending down to Mexico. We now know that Drew Galloway and Mr Anderson are going to be joining him on the team. All three guys have name value from their stint in WWE, so that should please the management team in AAA quite a bit.

John Gaburick has been a busy fellow this week. In addition to locking down Angelina Love to a contract, the TNA executive has also secured the use of Matt Hardy for at least another year. Carlito has been added to the card, and he will be facing TNA star Matt Hardy and New Japan star Lance Hoyt in a triple threat match. Dreamer is reportedly not done with the final card for the event, so you can expect him to keep working the phones vigorously.

A rather interesting report has surfaced about Matt Hardy and his net worth. It is being said that he is worth approximately $10 million. Some are questioning that figure, but it might not necessarily be completely out of line. Hardy was paid very well by WWE for years because his merchandise numbers were among the best. He also has been able to maintain a good quality of life by being one of the most popular performers on the indies circuit.
