Matt Hardy defends TNA

Since fans are still clinging on to the rumors that TNA has been late in paying performers, Matt Hardy has decided to explain the situation in the hopes that some will be smart enough to understand. He stated that the front office has never been late in paying he and Jeff Hardy. The former US champion even posted a photo of the monthly fee check, per match check, royalty check and another check that was included in the new contract he signed.

Brock Lesnar bleeding

As many of us witnessed, Brock Lesnar lost a bit of blood during his Wrestlemania main event match against Roman Reigns. There are speculations from the internet wrestling community that Vince McMahon allowed him to blade himself, a policy that the company has banned. Rumors stem from a video where it appears that the referee handed something to Reigns as he was laying on the floor outside the ring.

Jey Uso working hurt

Since it is never a good idea in WWE to ruin plans at Wrestlemania, rumors are floating around that Jey Uso is going to attempt to wrestle at the pay per view. The belief is that the backstage agents are going to work the match around in a way where Jimmy Uso does most of the heavy lifting for the team. Fortunately for everyone involved, the match will consists of several competitors, so it should be easier to mask things.

While everyone is under the assumption that the Intercontinental Championship ladder match is going to steal the show at Wrestlemania, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins have a different plan in mind. They're hoping to produce the match of the night. Rumors are floating around that the two of them have been discussing plans on doing a spot that is as awesome as the one where Evan Bourne took a flying RKO while flipping off the top rope.

Brock vs Rock

Earlier in the week, rumors surfaced about a potential main event match between Brock Lesnar and The Rock at Wrestlemania next year in Dallas. The latter was recently asked about that possibility during an interview, and he actually addressed the topic. He stated that it was indeed a possibility. He stated that there would be some interest because WWE would have a chance to break attendance records with a match like that.

Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania

In about a week and a half, Chris Jericho and Fozzy will be finishing up their tour of Europe. That is conveniently a weekly before Wrestlemania. Rumors are spreading that Jericho will making an appearance at the pay per view. WWE could throw him into the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal, but the more likely scenario has him higher up on the card and joining the ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship instead.

Goldust retirement match

Those of you that have been keeping up closely with the feud between the two brothers, a rematch at Wrestlemania between Cody Rhodes and Goldust is currently in the works. There are now talks that a special stipulation could be added to bring even further interest from the audience. Rumors are stating that WWE could have this become a retirement match. While he has denied it publicly, the older Rhodes brother is expected to retire.

Alex Riley in NXT

It looks like Alex Riley isn't ready to depart WWE just yet. Amid rumors that he was seeking his release from the company after being abruptly dropped from the Royal Rumble match, he showed up at NXT and started a program with one of the developmental wrestlers. It is said that he should be down there for at least a couple of weeks to finish the feud. No word yet on whether or not management will put him back on the main roster.

CM Punk debut match

When CM Punk announced that he had signed a contract with UFC, neither side was able to provide a specific date for his debut match. Rumors are now heating up that it could be on July 25, when the promotion does a card in Chicago, which happens to be the hometown of Punk. There, he would more than likely receive a warm ovation from the live audience. Plus, since it will be aired for free on Fox, that should draw in a ton of wrestling fans.

Kevin Owens wins title

It looks like those rumors about Kevin Owens being given a quick push by WWE were true. He is now the new NXT Heavyweight Champion after the latest Takeover event. The title change took place because the referee stopped the match. He feared for the safety of Sami Zayn, who had taken numerous power bombs from Owens. Since the pin never happened, Zayn still remains strong, and the feud should be able to continue just fine.
