Rumors are floating around that Myzteziz essentially chose CMLL over AAA because the former was more willing to give him the contract that he wanted. The negotiations were a lot simpler for him.

When asked recently about his frequent returns to TNA, Shark Boy revealed that he always answers the call whenever the promotion contacts him. The popular masked performer stated that he does not mind doing quick stints because it opens up more doors for him on the independent wrestling circuit. While he would like the stability of being a full time performer, he understands why they do not sign him long term.

Myzteziz not under contract

The man formerly known as Myzteziz and Sin Cara in WWE has spoken out about his abrupt departure from AAA. He stated that he was never under contract with the company, despite constantly asking them to make the deal official. The masked performer was also shocked that they did not want him to fulfill his remaining dates. The promotion was said to be furious that he showed up in CMLL while working for them.

Myzteziz leaves AAA

Things got pretty ugly between AAA and Myzteziz, who was the original Sin Cara in WWE. Apparently, the masked performer had some backstage heat with Alberto Del Rio, who reportedly threatened a physical assault. The man legally known as Luis Ignacio Urive Alvirde showed up unannounced in CMLL and said that he wanted to return to that promotion. When his current employer found out, a release was immediately given.

However, with the promotion likely to fold before the second season gets approved, plans are changing for the masked performer. There are now talks that he is considering a return to WWE. Some are even saying that discussions have already begun.

At one point in time, WWE was hoping that Kalisto would be the guy to help bring back some of the audience members in Mexico. He was even supposed to have been given a singles push that was described as something quite noticeable. Those plans have been trashed. The masked performer is basically considered a filler for the tag team division nowadays.

In a press release, Jeff Jarrett revealed that GFW will be helping to promote the final movie that Roddy Piper ever starred in. The film is called The Masked Saint, and it will be released in theaters next January. Prior to his death from a heart attack, Piper had agreed to work for Global Force Wrestling as an ambassador. That would have helped draw in fans to the promotion.

Since it isn't a casual mention, the belief is that the former world heavyweight champion is trying to send a message.
