Rey Mysterio returning to Mexico

When the tragic incident with Perro Aguayo took place, Rey Mysterio received quite a bit of death threats down in Mexico, so he avoided the country for a bit. He is now preparing to make his return there. Mysterio will return to CRASH next month. He is working a show on May 7, 2015 in Mexicali and a show on May 9, 2015 in Ensenada. A lot of people in the industry will be curious to see how the audience reacts to the masked superstar.

Manik defends TNA

With rumors swirling that the company has been late on paying the performers, Manik decided to step up and defend TNA. He stated that he has been receiving his payments on time. The masked star also noted how wrestlers would not stick around if they were not being paid because their traavel expenses add up pretty quickly. If management were not able to pay them, then they more than likely would leave to work the indies.

Chris Sabin to ROH

Chris Sabin made his surprise return to ROH recently, and he did it in a big way. In the main event of a television taping, Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels defeated reDRagon for the tag team championship. A masked man got involved in the action, and when the reveal took place, it turned out to be Sabin. The three former TNA stars have formed a new stable called KRD, which stands for Knights of the Rising Dawn.

Jey Uso working hurt

Since it is never a good idea in WWE to ruin plans at Wrestlemania, rumors are floating around that Jey Uso is going to attempt to wrestle at the pay per view. The belief is that the backstage agents are going to work the match around in a way where Jimmy Uso does most of the heavy lifting for the team. Fortunately for everyone involved, the match will consists of several competitors, so it should be easier to mask things.

Black Scorpion voice

Those that watched the latest episode of Monday Night Raw heard Sting finally speak since joining WWE. Kind of. The vignette featured a voice that fans were not familiar with. It was actually the voice of Steve Borden, but the production crew altered that because they want to save his real voice for Wrestlemania. The idea was inspired by the Black Scorpion character, the masked performer who ended up being revealed as Ric Flair.

Rey Mysterio held back

Many within the industry felt that WWE purposely kept Rey Mysterio off of television for as long as they could. That would explain why management opted to renew his contract, even though there were no plans to utilize him in a story line or a feud. The belief is that the company kept the masked performer in the background because they wanted to limit the impact that he would have on the next promotion that he signed on with.

Rey Mysterio at Wrestlemania

By now, just about everyone knows that Rey Mysterio is no longer with WWE, even though the company is attempting to keep that bit of information from leaking out to the investors. However, the masked superstar will still be heading to northern California for Wrestlemania week. He is highly unlikely to appear on television or even backstage, but Mysterio will be on hand at several events, including a VIP cocktail party.

Rey Mysterio to AAA

Now that he has been freed from his contract with WWE, Rey Mysterio is looking forward to getting back in the ring. Since the company paid him to sit at home, the masked performer is said to be in good health again. With so many options out there, Mysterio is going to have a tough time choosing. His first stop, however, should be an easy choice. AAA will more than likely bring in Mysterio for a couple of special appearances very soon.

Rumors are running rampant right now that Rey Mysterio might have just been released from his contract with WWE. The speculations were started because the company removed his profile from the current roster. The masked performer can now be found in the alumni section. Management usually orders that to take place whenever a wrestler leaves the promotion. Mysterio has been trying to find a way out for quite some time now.
