Mark Henry
While there are talks of shotgunning him into a big time program with John Cena, it appears that there are some backstage in WWE that are pushing upper management to ease the gas pedal a bit on the Rusev push. Rumors are floating around that the company could utilize Mark Henry as his next opponent, as his status as a former world champion could help add credibility to the Bulgarian character. A match between the two is reportedly penciled in for Money in the Bank 2014.

Mark Henry
The latest rumors on Titus ONeil is that there is backstage heat on him within WWE, as management has been booking him in multiple losses at live events. During a show this weekend, ONeil lost a match to Darren Young before issuing an open challenge and being decimated by Mark Henry. In the third match, he teams up with Wade Barrett to lose to both Young and Henry.

Michelle McCool
Monday Night Raw was held in San Antonio last night. Since the event was so close to their home, Michelle McCool and Undertaker decided to pay a visit backstage to some of their friends in WWE. There were never any plans for either of them to make an appearance on television, especially since Undertaker is still on vacation mode physically. The two of them still maintain a close relationship with management.
October 28, 2014
CM Punk
There is some development in the bitter feud between WWE and CM Punk, it seems. When the former world heavyweight champion had his lawyers send a 22 page letter to the company about royalties, management responded by removing most of his products from their online store. Something might have changed backstage, as WWE is selling Punk merchandise again.
October 27, 2014
Jeff Jarrett
If Jeff Jarrett wants Global Force Wrestling to do well right off the bat, then he's going to need some familiar faces on the show. Though he has been gone from WWE for quite some time now, John Morrison remains a familiar face with wrestling fans. The two of them are booked for a match against one another at an independent wrestling show on December 6, and Morrison has acknowledged that they will be discussing some business backstage.
October 22, 2014
Adam Pearce
Rumors were floating around that Nick Dinsmore was given a release by WWE because of backstage politics as opposed to budget cost. Those rumors are gaining steam right now because the company is reportedly interested in hiring Adam Pearce as his replacement. The former NWA champion has been spotted at the performance center a couple of times already this month.
October 21, 2014
Bully Ray
Now that their contracts with TNA have officially expired, there has been some contact between Team 3D and WWE. The two sides are discussing a potential return to the company. The move may come as a shock to certain fans because there was a widespread belief that Bully Ray and Devon were never going to be able to work in WWE ever again due to backstage heat. That apparently is not the case.
October 17, 2014
Rey Mysterio
While the backstage heat between the two sides remains at a pretty high level, it does not appear that WWE will be giving a release to Rey Mysterio any time soon. Management has started to accept that the former world heavyweight champion will not be returning to work anytime soon, but they will not let him out of his contract to help another promotion out. WWE would rather just keep him on the sidelines for the time being, especially since Mysterio has reportedly stopped cashing in their checks.
October 15, 2014
AJ Lee
Anyone that has watched WWE routinely over the last year has heard the audience chanting for CM Punk, who walked away from the company due to backstage heat with management. Those chants are especially loud whenever AJ Lee, his real life wife, is in the ring. During recently live events, Paige has decided to turn the tables around on the fans by actually responding to the chants. She reminds the audience that it is actually AJ in the ring and not Punk.

Justin Roberts
When Justin Roberts was given his release from WWE after Monday Night Raw ended, there were a good amount of people who were upset with the company for dropping him unceremoniously. Overwhelmed by the support, the announcer went online and asked fans not to be angry. He stated that he was able to live out his dream for several years. Roberts was one of the more well liked guys backstage because of his passion and enthusiasm for the business.
October 15, 2014
Justin Roberts
Shortly after he worked Monday Night Raw this week, WWE announced that they have decided to release Justin Roberts after a dozen years o service because they did not want to sign him to another contract. No word yet on why management is letting him go, but the news is probably not well received backstage since Roberts was viewed as one of the biggest wrestling fans in the company.
October 14, 2014
Kaz Hayashi
There were some backstage jokes at Bound For Glory 2014 that Mike Tenay was the agent for Kaz Hayashi. The two of them formed a bit of a bond when they were working in WCW together. When Wrestle-1 officials were trying to decide who to throw into the triple threat match with Low Ki and Samoa Joe, it was Tenay that convinced them to go with Hayashi. Japanese officials were said to be quite impressed that Tenay even knew who Hayashi was.

When reports surfaced that Nick Dinsmore was being released by WWE as a trainer, the belief was that it was for budgetary reasons. October 10, 2014
CM Punk
While Stephanie McMahon recently took a jab at CM Punk on Monday Night Raw, WWE is doing their best to show restraint. There is a fear backstage that if they are overly criticial of the former world heavyweight champion, then it might motivate him to gain revenge by working for a competing company. With word that TNA is interested in Punk, it would not be a surprise if WWE kept quiet about him for the foreseeable future.
October 9, 2014
Randy Orton
Management dedicates a lot of their creativity to events such as Royal Rumble 2015. October 7, 2014
Christian
The situation backstage with Christian is developing into an interesting one. While he has been medically cleared to return as an in ring performer, WWE feels that he is too fragile for that role, so management has not instructed the creative department to come up with a story for his comeback. The company wants to keep him around, but they have yet to figure out what capacity that is going to be in.
October 4, 2014

Noble and Mercury spend the majority of their time as backstage agents for the company.
October 2, 2014
Big Show
Considering how far down the ladder he has been dropped, it's easy to understand why there are a lot of rumors about possible backstage heat on Bray Wyatt. Speculations were high over the weekend because Wyatt lost cleanly in a match against Big Show, a performer that is not being pushed. A possible explanation for the loss is that WWE usually allows the baby faces to win at live events, in order to appease the audience.
September 28, 2014
Lana
One of the ideas being floated around right now has Mark Henry doing his rumored heel turn at Hell in a Cell 2014. WWE has planted the seeds by having Henry helping Big Show out in his feud against Alexander Rusev and Lana. Instead, WWE changed their minds and decided to put Cena and Lesnar over instead.
August 27, 2014
Luke Harper
There was a little bit of confusion on Monday Night Raw. Fans were led to believe that Big Show and Mark Henry were forming a team, especially after they were given a victory over Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Later on in the evening, Henry came out and started what looked like a feud with Alexander Rusev. The reason for all this is because WWE was not sure what they wanted to do, and the scripts overlapped. The decision to do a feud between Henry and Rusev was a last minute thing.
August 20, 2014
Luke Harper
Since management wasn't completely sure what to do with them upon their returns, WWE has seemingly decided to put Big Show and Mark Henry into a tag team. The duo demolished Curtis Axel and Ryback on Smackdown. The belief is that Show and Henry could be placed into a big tag team match on a pay per view against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.
August 11, 2014
Jack Swagger
On Monday Night Raw this week, fans witnessed Mark Henry making his return and attacking Damien Sandow. For the time being, the trio will continue to be vague on television.
