During a recent interview, Gunner was asked about his recent departure from TNA. He stated that he left on very good terms, making sure not to burn any bridges. He simply is pursuing other opportunities right now. The military veteran was told that the door for a return was left open for him whenever he is ready to come back.

There may be some backstage heat heading towards Lita soon. During a recent interview, she flat out stated that the divas division has gone downhill since she left WWE. That will not sit well with the female performers and certain members of management. Amy Dumas did praise the divas down in NXT, however, and said that they can turn things around.

Earlier in the day, it was discovered that Lita had been hanging out in New York City. The belief is that she simply wanted some time to have fun because she is scheduled to head down to Florida on Tuesday to start working at the performance center. She is back with WWE to help out with the latest season of Tough Enough.

When you look at someone like Lita, you're already thinking of sexy. When you factor in that she is an old school professional wrestler, then that sexiness factor multiplies tenfold. During a recent interview, Amy Dumas revealed that while she has no issue with the name of the belt, she does not like the fact that there is a butterfly on the Divas Championship. She also states that she prefers to be called a "superstar" or "wrestler" instead of a "diva".

In response to all the rumors that are floating around right now about Impact Wrestling being canceled, TNA has issued an official statement on the matter. The company is threatening to sue those that are facilitating the speculation. Fans are still waiting for public denial from Dixie Carter, but the belief is that the company would not be threatening legal action if they were actually informed of a cancellation from Destination America.

Thanks to some untimely injuries, NXT is going to be taking a hit at the top of their roster. Hideo Itami is the latest person to be placed on the injured reserve list. He sustained a shoulder injury, and the initial prognosis is that he will be required to miss at least 6 to 8 months of action in order to proper rehabilitate the damaged body part. Itami was in the midst of a push, and he was scheduled to be promoted to the main roster in the near future.
