Through social media, the Young Bucks revealed to fans that they have signed a new contract. Of course, to make things fun, the brothers did not bother to reveal which promotion that they are signing with. Instead, they listed out Lucha Underground, WWE, ROH, TNA and New Japan. The belief is that the popular tandem has not signed with World Wrestling Entertainment because they have backstage heat there.

The induction ceremony is taking place in Virginia. Billy Corgan will induct Hebner.

That might surprise some within the internet wrestling community, but it makes sense from a business standpoint. The company signed a massive television contract in India, so they are going to want his presence around for as long as possible. The deal runs out in 2022.

Over the last several weeks, John Gaburick and Dixie Carter have been going down their list and signing performers to new contracts. The latest person to close a deal is Rockstar Spud. He is now signed with TNA for at least another year. Spud is rather happy with the role that he has been given in the company. He was initially brought on board as comedy relief, but management kept their promise about turning him into an actual wrestler.

Reports have surfaced that management was instructed to push the Olympic gold medalist because having a real American hero would be great for a the theme that Destination America has been trying to push for themselves.

During the latest episode of his podcast interview, Vince Russo went off on a tangent about how TNA has been treating their veteran performers. His main source of discord is that management does not show loyalty towards their long tenured performers. He specifically listed AJ Styles, Bully Ray and Velvet Sky as three examples. Russo stated that the company might be saving money by letting them go, but they are losing on potential revenue.

Near the top of their priority list is Bully Ray. The company reportedly wants him back because they feel that he is one of the better performers in the industry. However, that could be a problem since the former world heavyweight champion is said to have some resentment towards management.
