There are speculations floating around that Antonio Cesaro has backstage heat on him from management because of some recent comments that he made in regards to the creative decisions being made by WWE. Some gasoline was thrown into the fire when Cesaro was shockingly defeated in two consecutive matches in a best of three falls match at Hell in a Cell 2014. Some are disputing the rumors, but we shall see how Cesaro is used in the upcoming weeks and months.

Dean Ambrose
Rumors are floating around that Randy Orton suffered a serious injury during the handicap street fight tag team match on Monday Night Raw. It took place early in the match when Dean Ambrose dove out of the ring and on to the heels. Orton reportedly told the trainer that the ruptured disc in his back was messed up. No word yet on whether or not he can work Hell in a Cell 2014, but as a precaution, WWE kept Orton from working Smackdown this week.

John Cena
Initially, WWE felt that a match between John Cena and Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell 2014 was going to be able to sell itself. Management reportedly noticed the lack of interest and a good amount of complaint from fans, so they made the decision to change things up. The winner now gets a shot at the heavyweight championship, which should pique interest from more fans.

Alexander Rusev
One of the ideas being floated around right now has Mark Henry doing his rumored heel turn at Hell in a Cell 2014. WWE has planted the seeds by having Henry helping Big Show out in his feud against Alexander Rusev and Lana. The belief is that management wants to use the feud to put Rusev closer to the main event scene, while protecting Big Show, which can be done if Henry turns and costs him the match at the pay per view.
October 15, 2014
Dean Ambrose
WWE is promoting Hell in a Cell 2014 as having a double main event, and the reason behind that is simple. They do not believe that Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are proven draws yet, even with the big steel structure and a highly entertaining feud behind them. Thus, the reliance on John Cena and Randy Orton, two guys that the company has relied on for years now, to help sell the pay per view.

Alexander Rusev
With only two matches confirmed for Hell in a Cell 2014, WWE is looking at building the under card with some filler matches. One of the top candidates is a bout between Sheamus and Miz. Management is leaning towards definitely doing that match because they need to build up Sheamus, so that he can be placed into a feud with Alexander Rusev next month.
October 11, 2014
Brie Bella
There were rumors floating around not too long ago that Nikki Bella and Brie Bella were going to work in the gigantic steel structure at Hell in a Cell 2014, but it looks like WWE has opted against that. The story simply is not heated enough for the two of them to work such a gimmick match, and there are a lot of concerns about performance and safety.
October 9, 2014
Dean Ambrose
On Monday Night Raw, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon announced that John Cena and Dean Ambrose would be facing one another in a match at Hell in a Cell 2014, and the winner would get to work the main event against Seth Rollins in the gigantic steel structure. Rumors are still floating around that the loser of the match will be given Randy Orton as a consolation prize.
October 7, 2014
Alexander Rusev
After winning his war against Mark Henry, Alexander Rusev was transitioned over into a feud with Big Show. The two of them are expected to finish off their program at Hell in a Cell 2014. Rusev is expected to come out on top and move further up the ladder. Reports have surfaced that WWE is going to pair him up with Sheamus and have him take the United States Heavyweight Championship off of him.
October 2, 2014
Brock Lesnar
While WWE is still trying to finalize plans for Hell in a Cell 2014, one thing is certain. Seth Rollins is going to be working a match inside of the huge steel structure. His opponent will either be John Cena or Dean Ambrose. Management has not yet made a decision on that, but the belief is that Cena has the advantage because he has been more of a proven draw over the years, and the pay per view desperately needs that drawing power since Brock Lesnar and the WWE title are not going to be present.
September 30, 2014
Brie Bella
Some crazy rumors are floating around right now about Nikki Bella and Brie Bella competing in a Hell in a Cell match at Hell in a Cell 2014. WWE is extremely unlikely to do this because they do want their female performers in gimmick matches that might cause severe injury, but the rumors have some merit because it was revealed by an insider who has accurately broken the news on a couple of things in the past.
September 29, 2014
Batista
One name that will definitely not be at Hell in a Cell 2014 is Batista. He will be busy next month doing a new movie with acting legend Robert De Niro. The two will star in a film called Bus 657, which will be centered around a heist. Batista will be playing a greedy character who helps his coworker rob a bank to pay for health treatments for his daughter.
September 25, 2014
Brock Lesnar
Reports have surfaced that Brock Lesnar is not scheduled to work Hell in a Cell 2014. The WWE champion has caused quite a headache for the front office. Management has to be selective about when they use him because they have to pay him accordingly. The creative department has a dilemma because they know that they cannot keep having Lesnar wrestle John Cena, and there's not a lot of performers on the roster that has enough name value to work with Lesnar.
September 25, 2014
Brock Lesnar
There is some disarray backstage in WWE right now as to what to do with the main event of Hell in a Cell 2014. Some think that John Cena and Brock Lesnar should have a title rematch in the gigantic steel structure. However, there are enough people who are opposed to the idea that management had to scrap all plans involving Lesnar and Paul Heyman on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw.

Roman Reigns
When word spread that Roman Reigns was rushed to the hospital, WWE made it clear that he was going to miss Night of Champions 2014, where he was scheduled for a big match against Seth Rollins. Reports have now surfaced that Reigns might be missing Hell in a Cell 2014 as well, as medical examiners believe that the type of hernia that he is suffering from is quite severe.

Lex Luger
"I still do Hangar 18 but I always liked Lex Luger as a kid and it had been a long time since we'd seen a finisher like that. It was something that I thought I could use, given my size. It also looks impressive so I decided to add it to my arsenal. I once had to pick up Luke Gallows, he's a big guy and sometimes you think 'that's bad on the back' because your compressing your spine. As for Hanger 18, I always give props to Brock Lesnar because that's his move and I use the F5 with the utmost respect but that move is rough on your back too." - Gunner talks about his finishing move

Lex Luger

"I was brought in by Hiro Matsuda to always be professional, don't ever question finishes. If a guy like Undertaker [wanted to beat me at WrestleMania], I wouldn't have had any problem putting him over, especially at WrestleMania. I understand ... that some guys might be frustrated but I don't understand what they would be frustrated about. It's one match in a career. If you have confidence in yourself, your career, and the big picture as far as where you're going, I don't think it hurts at all to put Undertaker over at WrestleMania."

- Lex Luger on Undertaker
