Rob Van Dam contract status

During a recent interview, Rob Van Dam revealed some rather interesting details about his business relationship with WWE. While he is not officially under contract as a performer, the former world heavyweight champion is not legally allowed to work for TNA or ROH because he has a merchandise deal. RVD states that he intends to make another return some day, but he is in no rush to do so at the moment.

When the two of them worked a match at Summerslam in 1992, the man legally known as James Harris stated that he received $13,000, while his opponent made around $500,000 for the night.

Uhaa Nation has been given a new theme song to use in NXT, and it is interesting to note that it is a piece that was utilized on the very first episode of Impact Wrestling that aired on Destination America. Since that could be grounds for a lawsuit, someone might have made a mistake backstage. A change should be expected soon, as the legal department already has their hands full with lawsuits.

As if the legal department wasn't busy enough with all the concussion lawsuits from former performers, WWE is now being hit with a lawsuit from a security guard that worked a live event in 2013. Twelve performers who worked that night are being sued, as the man is not entirely sure who hit him with a chair. His belief is that it was Dean Ambrose. His lawyer is reviewing videos to make sure.
