Rumors began circulating earlier this month that Lance Hoyt was going to be joining Jeff Jarrett in the new Global Force Wrestling, and speculations have been heating up as of late because the former TNA star has been increasing the amount of shows that he works in the United States. GFW could provide him a much more consistent booking than the independent wrestling circuit.

A promoter out in Phoenix is putting together a pretty big show called Desert Storm on May 18. Performers being advertised for the event include Chris Sabin, Matt Hardy, Austin Aries, Shelton Benjamin, Shane Helms, Trent Baretta and Lance Hoyt. In terms of the independent wrestling circuit, that is an extremely stacked card, so it will be interesting to see if the promoters can pull this off.

While he has made quite a name for himself in New Japan, there are rumors floating around that Lance Hoyt could be interested in signing with Jeff Jarrett and his new Global Force Wrestling. The belief is that Hoyt would want a schedule that enables him to still do frequent tours of Japan. Jarrett might be willing to agree to that since he wants his promotion to be internationally known.

While there was some interest in bringing him back a couple of months ago, it does not appear that Lance Hoyt will be coming back to TNA anytime soon. He is currently thriving as a tag team with David Hart Smith in New Japan right now, and the money there is higher than what he would be paid if he was working Impact Wrestling again.

He is being booked frequently, where he and Lance Hoyt have been involved in the IWGP tag team championship program with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows will be defending the IWGP tag team championship against David Hart Smith and Lance Hoyt. The main event is a heavyweight title fight between Hiroshi Tanahashi and Shinsuke Nakamura.
