There have been a lot of rumors over the years that Triple H has issues with Kurt Angle. Some state that as the reason why the latter was not brought back to WWE. During a podcast interview with Steve Austin, HHH was quick to praise Angle without being solicited. He stated that the Olympic gold medalist picked up the business of professional wrestling quicker than anyone he has ever seen in his career. Angle is routinely praised for being a fast learner.

Now that he has signed a new contract with TNA, which will more than likely be the end of his career as an in ring performer, there are talks coming from WWE that the company was not interested in bringing Kurt Angle back whatsoever, despite reports that they offered him a full time deal not too long ago. The word is that management was only interested in bringing him back as a trainer or their developmental program in Florida.

For many wrestling fans, it was almost a guaranteed thing that Kurt Angle would return to WWE to finish off his career. It made almost too much sense. However, the decision to leave TNA was not as easy to someone that has actually worked there for years. Angle has stated that the decision was made especially hard because he did not want to leave the company that provided him with a home and has featured him rather nicely for the last several years.
