Kofi Kingston
While he managed to avoid an injury after taking an over the top rope dive at Wrestlemania 30, Kofi Kingston might have been injured during his taped match against Titus ONeil during WWE Superstars. He was limping noticeably and required some help to leave the arena. Some believe that he might be willing to work through the injury if it is not too bad.

Each year, wrestlers and officials backstage rank the performances by their stars at the biggest pay per view event of the year, but WWE is having a hard time trying to figure out what the best match of Wrestlemania 30 was. Everyone came through with good matches, even the mid level guys like Kofi Kingston and Antonio Cesaro in the battle royal.

"People always say, 'Oh, there haven't been many black champions,' but on the other hand, there are a whole lot of white people that never won a belt either. These days, I think it's less of a racial thing. I honestly believe that if you are able to entertain and interact with the crowd, it doesn't matter what ethnicity you may be. WWE will reward you." - Kofi Kingston discusses racism and backstage politics

While he is not a main event performer in WWE, Kofi Kingston draws in a pretty good salary. His downside guarantee is $254,200 a year. Even though he does have to pay for his own travel expenses, Kingston does get thrown into a couple of pay per view events per year, which gives his annual salary a nice boost from the PPV bonuses.
March 24, 2014
Nikki Bella
Since Wrestlemania is right around the corner, WWE has decided to tape a commercial in New Orleans to promote the pay per view. Fandango, Summer Rae, Kofi Kingston, Sheamus, Big Show, Nikki Bella and Brie Bella are all in town for the shoot. "I've been clamoring at that for a while now, but the situation has to be right and the timing has to be right; everything has to be right. I wouldn't want to just do it for the sake of doing it because you might get lost in the shuffle that way. If the situation was right, it would give me a chance to do something completely different and show people a side of me they have never seen before, which I think would be great and I think would be fun." - Kofi Kingston wants heel turn

While a lot of fans bought into the hype of the match since a legendary name was attached to it, WWE is viewing the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal as an afterthought. There is even a strong push to move it off the pay per view and utilized it as a kickoff match, despite several stars such as Ryback, Kofi Kingston, Big E Langston and Dolph Ziggler being rumored for spots.

"Yeah, we were each other's road wives. With Punk, I consider him to be like a brother to me. He's one of the guys who took me under his wing when I first came. So we've been able to maintain a good relationship. And there are very few people in the business that you can call true friends, so I consider Punk to be that and more. So yes, "road wife" is the term we used to sum that all up." - Kofi Kingston on his relationship with CM Punk

Big E Langston
WWE removed the match involving Big E Langston, Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal from the Hulu broadcast of Monday Night Raw this week. They also removed Jack Swagger and Kofi Kingston. During a recent podcast interview, Kofi Kingston was asked who his dream opponent would be for Wrestlemania. He quickly replied that Rey Mysterio would be his first choice.
