When Kevin Nash was arrested and charged for assault, WWE was quick to suspend his contract. That resulted in a bit of animosity from their former world heavyweight champion, who stated on social media that he has severed ties with the company. However, reports are now surfacing that Nash might have had a change of heart. There is a good chance that he might be making an appearance on the next episode of Monday Night Raw after all.

While the legends contract with WWE was not his main source of income, by any means, Kevin Nash is quite upset with management for suspending his deal immediately after he was arrested for battery during an incident with his son. The suspension meant that he would no longer receive monthly paychecks from the company. Nash stated on social media that he did not see himself coming back to the company, even after the case is closed.

Reports have surfaced that Triple H was actually the one that made the decision to suspend Kevin Nash after he was charged for battery during a situation that involved his own son. It is also being said that HHH was the one to make the phone call to Nash personally. There are those that are skeptical of the reports, as the automatic suspension is said to be a policy by WWE. Legends contracts are immediately suspended until legal issues are cleared.

Maryland Championship Wrestling has announced that they are still honoring the contract that they had with the former world heavyweight champion, who agreed to make an appearance at their live event in Joppa on Saturday night. Nash should have no problems with being booked on the indies.

WWE on Kevin Nash arrest

Since they are a high profile and publicly traded company, it should come as no surprise that WWE issued an official statement on Kevin Nash and his arrest yesterday. The company was quick to let people know that Nash has not been a regular performer for them since 2004. They stated that the former world heavyweight champion was simply under a Legends contract, which they also revealed has been suspended until the case has been resolved.
