That resulted in a bit of animosity from their former world heavyweight champion, who stated on social media that he has severed ties with the company. However, reports are now surfacing that Nash might have had a change of heart. There is a good chance that he might be making an appearance on the next episode of Monday Night Raw after all.

While the legends contract with WWE was not his main source of income, by any means, Kevin Nash is quite upset with management for suspending his deal immediately after he was arrested for battery during an incident with his son. The suspension meant that he would no longer receive monthly paychecks from the company. Nash stated on social media that he did not see himself coming back to the company, even after the case is closed.

Maryland Championship Wrestling was more than happy to have Kevin Nash at their live event this weekend, even after he was arrested for battery and suspended almost immediately by WWE. However, the former world heavyweight champion opted to cancel out of the appearance at the last minute, citing some sort of medical emergency involving his son. The promotion was able to replace him with Mick Foley, thus keeping their fan base pleased.

Initially, Kevin Nash was to have been a big part of the promotional campaign for the Royal Rumble, having been scheduled to make an appearance alongside Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan on the episode of Monday Night Raw before the pay per view. However, with his arrest, it appears that WWE officials have opted to remove him from the event. They are going about it quietly, though, as to not generate any more publicity from the situation.

Since they are a high profile and publicly traded company, it should come as no surprise that WWE issued an official statement on Kevin Nash and his arrest yesterday. The company was quick to let people know that Nash has not been a regular performer for them since 2004. They stated that the former world heavyweight champion was simply under a Legends contract, which they also revealed has been suspended until the case has been resolved.

In a rather disturbing development, Kevin Nash was arrested earlier this morning for battery. The incident involved his son, as the two of them got into a fight at the house. Nash is claiming that his son came home drunk and became belligerent. The two got into a scuffle, and when cops arrived, they had deemed Nash as the primary aggressor. That choice might have been incorrect, as Nash's son was arrested two hours later in another domestic incident.
